Lesbian Poetry: An Anthology

Mikeblas, could you please explain why you removed the Books Wikiproject with this edit at Lesbian Poetry: An Anthology? The article is clearly about a book, and I would have thought that an article about a book did fall within the scope of the project. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 01:01, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

I took this action with the same rationale as last you asked: the books project doesn't incldue poetry books. Poetry books are the provence of the Poetry proejct. I removed the books project tag and replaced it with the poetry tag. -- Mikeblas (talk) 01:37, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
I'd be grateful if you could direct me to the project's account of which articles do and do not fall within its scope, and the part specifically mentioning poetry books. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 02:26, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
It's in the project page at the top, where it says "scope". This link is included in the Books project banner link you were using: Wikipedia:WikiProject Books. Hope that helps! -- Mikeblas (talk) 10:36, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. However, I must note that the project states "Articles on poems should be directed to WikiProject Poetry". Lesbian Poetry: An Anthology is not an article about a poem. It is an article about a book that contains poems, an anthology of poetry. I realize that this may seem like a hair-splitting distinction to some, but to me it is a quite basic distinction. Respectfully, I think you have misinterpreted the project's scope and that Lesbian Poetry: An Anthology does fall within it. I would suggest consulting with other project members. That's an interesting take! I guess it's viable, so I've asked around at the WP:Books project. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:14, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for at least being willing to raise the issue. The resulting discussion seems to have been inconclusive. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 08:21, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Dreamcatcher (novel)

Hello, Mikeblas. I'm currently involved in a discussion of the infobox at Dreamcatcher (novel). I'd like to ask for your opinion on the dispute as you are a member of WikiProject Books, and the dispute doesn't concern one book in particular but infoboxes of book articles generally. Feel free to ignore this request if you like, but if you do, I'll feel a need to ask the WikiProject for help directly. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 09:16, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello, FKC. I don't know of any WP Books guidelines about how the caption for an image in an infobox should be written. Sounds like the kind of thing you should bring up over in the project and see what people say, particularly if you're thinking that the decision should apply to all articles in the project. It's not something I'd want to decide unilaterally. -- Mikeblas (talk) 12:57, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for your response (it's constructive, unlike the bizarre warning someone recently dumped on my talk page). I'll do exactly as you suggest in the near future. FreeKnowledgeCreator (talk) 03:53, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
