Hello Michael, I noticed that you are a High School Social Studies teacher. Have you ever considered giving your class a project that involved creating or improving a Wikipedia article? In high school, I feel like many students understand that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, but they view that to be "someone can change Circle to say "A circle is a shape with four sides". Most students don't realize that they can improve the encyclopedia. Giving them a project that requires them to create accounts and improve the encyclopedia could create valuable contributors. Ryan Vesey 18:05, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Ben Jonson and grammar

The phrase "tragedies survive" is correct. The phrase "none of his early tragedies survive" is not correct. In the latter case, "none" is the subject of the clause, and "none" is a singular noun, not a plural. The phrase "of his early tragedies" is in the genitive case, as the grammarians would say, and cannot be the subject of the sentence. Sorry to be pedantic. I am very glad that you have left a message and not just reverted my change. Incidentally, I cannot remember that I can take any credit for any of the Ben Jonson article. I do not recall why it is on my watchlist - I may have made a minor amendment or put a question or comment on the talk page. --Martin Wyatt (talk) 19:25, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
