I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Laura Prepon. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 23:46, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth for Laura Prepon[edit]

I have removed the date of birth that you added to the lead and infobox of Laura Prepon on May 5, 2024. The principles that I cited in my previous message (above) still apply. Eddie Blick (talk) 20:25, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @Metalhibiscus. I have partially restored your edits to Laura Prepon with the date of birth in the infobox. You can feel free to add the other prose information back in the lead section or body of the article provided you use the same citation to reference the source that I used in the infobox. I don't think @Teblick realized the information was already sourced in the article (and neither did I at first) since it had no WP:inline citations and even though these are not technically required per WP:leadcite, inline citations are preferred for Wikipedia:biographies of living persons. Thanks and happy editing. Huggums537 (talk) 02:54, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, @Huggums537. You are correct about my not realizing that. I appreciate your help. Eddie Blick (talk) 14:34, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
