What's with this AfD business attached to user OGBranniff? Having read the background it's obviously a case of bad timing for me. I don't want to get my account deleted without me having had a chance to prove I am someone else. Which I can do, by the way, I have offered several times but have been conveniently ignored. Hello. Well, I told you that you had nothing to fear from that myopic "investigation." The only thing that anyone learned from that mess is how paranoid and pompous those chess editors are -- as evidenced by fulminations such as this by "Toccata Quarta" . . . can't you just picture him sitting there red-faced, practically hyperventilating, as he typed that?

Well, I guess they found out the obvious . . . that I am I, and they blocked my IP for 90 days. Of course, that doesn't really matter; having been here for almost eight years (which is now longer than all but a few active editors) you learn a few things about how to work around such crude methods. I saw that line! Quite an incredible thing to say. I think it was the fear of being wrong that makes him write something like that, but he just embarrassed himself even further.
