Fissipeds[edit]

Hi - I have redirected your article fissiped to fissipedia since that article already contained all the information. Hope you don't mind. --Bookgrrl 02:23, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

bad title[edit]

Lynx, prionailurus, pardofelis, catopuma and mayailurus are now members of pantherinae.

Sorry, that was a ridiculous article title. By all means add this info. to each of the existing articles about these animals. -- RHaworth 10:51, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please read this page. What does the message above say? -- RHaworth 18:15, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

mammal taxonnomy[edit]

Please see http://nmnhgoph.si.edu/msw/MSW3.txt for the most complete mammal taxonomy. Please don't change things that have already been updated to this list, and please help work to move articles towards being in compliance with this list. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Various edits to topics on bears & tigers[edit]

Please stop removing information and valid links. Thanks. Stephenb (Talk) 12:03, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Stephenb (Talk) 12:22, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Stephenb (Talk) 15:29, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have reviewed several of these edits to articles on tigers and bears and have not seen any which appear to be vandalism. Stephenb, please do not mis-use vandalism warnings. Minor changes in links (e.g. [[animal]]ia to [[animalia]]) and other stylistic alterations are not vandalism. --CBD 16:34, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Page Moves[edit]

Please stop moving pages until you have talked it over with your fellow editors on the article's talk page or you may be blocked for disrupting Wikipedia. Please respond to this message to indicate that you have read and understood this message by editing this page. --  Netsnipe  ►  06:52, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

People, calm down. It's not like there have been so many contested edits that it constitutes significant disruption or more than a couple of minutes to set right. If the Meleh hasn't noticed their talk page (I know I didn't for a long time after creating an account) then they aren't 'ignoring' efforts at discussion. Try getting their attention by putting links to this talk page in your edit summaries. I put a message on User:Meleh to similar effect. --CBD 14:47, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ANI thread[edit]

Hi Meleh, there is a discussion here going on and centres around you. Just thought you might want to know and provide your input. »ctails!« =hello?= 18:01, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving pages[edit]

Disambiguation pages do not need a "(disambiguation)" part in their name. They only have that when it is absolutely necessary because the title without it is used by another article as the predominant meaning of the name. See Wikipedia:Disambiguation. For other page moves, bring it up on the Talk page first before making the move. Don't make the move for several days after you bring it up or if people object. If you have any questions about Wikipedia, you are welcome to ask me. —Centrxtalk • 22:56, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
