New Article[edit]

My talk page is the best way to reach me. I'd be more than happy to answer questions, give pointers, or review your article. Drop me a line and let me know. Good luck! TNX-Man 12:46, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you click on the "X" in my signature (it's dark blue), it will take you to my talk page. Or, if you're on my user page, there's a tab at the top for "discussion". How's the article coming? TNX-Man 15:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can see the article on your Sandbox page. If you'd like, I'll review the article this evening and give you my impressions. Glancing through, though, it looks pretty good. Also, a quick note: when leaving messages on other's talk pages, be sure to indent every new message to help with readability. If you look at these posts, I've put an increasing number of colons in order to indent each message. Cheers! TNX-Man 16:19, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can give your article a look right now-ish. Is it OK if I make changes to your sandbox? I'll discuss the changes with you here afterwards if you like. TNX-Man 13:02, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent) OK,I've looked over your article. It looks pretty good. I've made a few changes, as you can see. I shrunk some of the images so they don't dominate the text. I've also removed the bolding from the captions. The only real issue I noticed was lack of in-line references. You have a reference list at the bottom (which is good), but now you need to integrate those references into the article. If you cite one of your references, be sure and note it. Now, this article has a zillion references, but it should give you an idea of how it works. Cheers! TNX-Man 13:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your article is looking pretty good! I've added a {{reflist}} to the bottom of your reference section. This template causes the references to display in numerical order. I hope this helps! TNX-Man 17:44, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all. It's great to see a user dedicated to making a good article. Cheers! TNX-Man 18:02, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's a piece of cake. Just go here and copy/paste your article there. Then hit "save page". Done and done. Good luck! TNX-Man 11:45, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:The back of Marchmont.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The back of Marchmont.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:06, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know?[edit]

Updated DYK query On 29 June, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Marchmont House, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Hello, Mark J Richards. You have new messages at Tnxman307's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Sorry I messed up[edit]

I saw your message on Tnxman's page and thought I'd help out. But I moved the wrong page (I didn't notice the "2"!) Anyway I'm fixing it now. Sorry, Martin 10:58, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, all fixed now! The advantage of moving the page is that the history is retained so people can see how the article developed (if they want to). Cheers, Martin 11:10, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
