September 2021[edit]

Information icon Hi Mansub20! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at First Battle of El Alamein that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. -- Toddy1 (talk) 13:31, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The statement of your opinion about the reliability of the source used to support a statement about the Maori battalion in the article on the First Battle of El Alamein has been moved to the article talk page, which is where you should have posted it. Article pages are not suitable places for editor opinion.-- Toddy1 (talk) 13:31, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[Thank you Toddy1. I dont know how to send a thank you to you. Please note that the same claims are made on the wiki page for the Maori Battalion at the end of the section 'disbandment'.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Mansub20 (talkcontribs) 23:22, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What you should do is to explain your objections on that article's talk page, and then delete the offending passage from the article.
Try reading Wikipedia:Reliable sources; it will explain Wikipedia policies on sources.
When you make comments on a talk page please sign your post by adding the following at the end: ~~~~ This will add a signature, the time and date.
