Speedy deletion nomination of Wanda Strickfaden[edit]

Hello Manishvyas13,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Wanda Strickfaden for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Swibe (talk) 08:44, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Justin Reinstein.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Justin Reinstein.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. January (talk) 20:09, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Woodforest National Bank[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Please keep contributing! I just removed your bit on Woodforest National Bank about the 5K because it didn't seem notable and the reference link didn't work. You can put it back (and I promise not to delete it) if you can fix the reference link and demonstrate why it is notable. Does this 5K raise lots more money than others? Are many thousands of runners involved? What does the foundation do that is of note? -- ke4roh (talk) 15:21, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

February 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Dietary supplement. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. SFK2 (talk) 04:17, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Deadlinks are not an opportunity for you to insert spam SFK2 (talk) 10:40, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Looking over the last six months of this account, it is clear that you are now dedicated to inserting spam refs into articles, likely as part of a paid relationship. I have blocked this account until you can show that you understand our policy at WP:RS and will commit to cease your promotional activities. Kuru (talk) 13:38, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently, you'll need to profess your understanding of WP:SOCK as well. Kuru (talk) 13:41, 8 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello admin, I am beginner in Wikipedia, editing the page content of Wikipedia is my hobby, and i found a link which was dad-link, so i try to update it, I am not a paid-editor, and not involve in any promotional or advertising activity of any thing. so i request you that please unblock my account. regard Manish vyas

Decline reason:

Not convinced. You've added several links for obvious spam sites, so before you have any chance of being unblocked you need to convince us of what you did wrong, what you plan to change and how you want to contribute in the future. Bjelleklang - talk 14:07, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
