Invitation[edit]

Hello! As there is a Wikipedia article about you, you are cordially invited to contribute a short audio recoding of your spoken voice, so that our readers may know what you sound like and how you pronounce your name. Details of how to do so, and examples, are at Wikipedia:Voice intro project. Please feel free to ask for help or clarification on the project talk page, or my talk page. --1Veertje (talk) 14:23, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

done, hope it's ok --Maha (talk) 14:33, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thank you and yes it's ok! could you maybe also record one in your native German? Thank you. --1Veertje (talk) 10:28, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I'll do. Where shall I put it? As far as I know, there is no voice intro project in German/in the German Wikipedia. --Maha (talk) 11:59, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ORCID[edit]

Hi,

Do you have an ORCID iD, yet? Please see WP:ORCID for how to include it on your user page, and the Wikidata item about you. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:35, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know whether I have an ORCID ID. How can I find out? What do I have to do. There is an Authority Control section on the wikipedia page about me in the English Wikipedia. Thanks for your help! Maha (talk) 21:19, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like I don't have one. What do I have to do? Maha (talk) 10:16, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Jurors for WikiScienceCompetition 2017[edit]

Hi, I see from this query that you are wikimedian working in the academia.

I am helping to organize the Wiki Science Competition. As a German citizen you would represent a country without national jury. Would you like to join?

We have position for second-level jurors, but we are thinking of adding two additional main jurors, it depend of the balance of backgrounds.

We start in few weeks, but international jurors work later, from January 2018.

In any case I hope you can spread the news. Let me know.--Alexmar983 (talk) 08:56, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds very interesting. I would gladly take part, but I won't have time before january.
Best whishes,

Maha (talk) 20:46, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have not seen this before now. I ask around. but most of the work is in late December. I have not problem in putting you even if you can only do a fraction of other jurors work, but this is not sure. If they are fast, probably not. Let me see how it goes the upload too. If it is very intense, than we need more workforce and we end later.--Alexmar983 (talk) 08:46, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Here is an idea, what about being part of the "Academic Committee" (like I am, I am no juror)? If you can help with spreading the information in Germany, which has no national jury, that would be absolutely worth the position. And also suggesting some other ways for promoting the final winners of the event too. The main jury is now full and we need a photographer, if we add someone else. but as a juror we can keep your name for the next edition.--Alexmar983 (talk) 11:43, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
that's ok with me. --Maha (talk) 15:14, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
oh good, I tell Ivo. Could you use "Email this user" and send me your preferred contact email? Now we have started but it's hard to get sitenotices in all the countries because they want "organization" but it is strange, we did have better promotion in 2015, now instead even if I have prepared a robust international jury, we are stuck with an unbalanced situation where many countries have no upload. My country is fine, I am preparing everything in detail, but I had to write 400 mails to every associations in the world, I don't know who will forward them and I can't organize a campaign on social media from China. So really, every suggestion is welcome. Even a nice tweet in the right place--Alexmar983 (talk) 12:43, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Professor Page, did you see my emails? Just want to be sure, sometimes yahoo mail are considered spam.--Alexmar983 (talk) 13:07, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
