Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Draft:Benjamin Madrid ‎. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Wikipedia is an aggregate of sorts. I have all kinds of foreign websites that dont get the facts right. Like idolbirthdays.com . If I don't control it from the beginning it'll always be weird and incorrect. I'm happy to pay someone else to write it, but as my film career spirals across the Middle East, as an American actor I'd like some facts to be right. Madridbenjamin (talk) 02:01, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Paying someone to write an article about yourself often does not end well. I have not looked at your draft, but the above submission declines indicate that the draft does not have reliable sources showing your notability. The requirements to show notability of people are given in WP:NBIO. Criteria specific to actors are given in WP:NACTOR:
  1. Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions; or
  2. Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.
If you meet those requirements and the problem is simply with the referencing, then a paid editor may be able to help you. If not, don't waste your money. If you do go the paid editor route then there is a strong conflict of interest, and the editor must follow WP:PAID. It is not a good idea to write an article about yourself, or to have someone else do it, and it often does not end well.
And please read WP:MULTIACCOUNT and WP:ALTACCOUNT. You have a second account, user:Madridb, and are currently editing using both of them. Meters (talk) 08:32, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Very possibly. Wikipedia doesn't make it easier to find that and fix it. Where is the 'account' button so I can figure out what one I'm using vs one I've used in the past? Madridbenjamin (talk) 03:05, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
