Edits[edit]

Hi Lou, thanks for the complement on my page Sydney Coach terminal and thanks for the correction. I actually work at the terminal and my name isn't mindy, thats actully my dogs name, my real name is Adam and I plan to expand on my page and possably other pages as well. Thanks Adam —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mindys12345 (talkcontribs) 05:57, 14 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Please Warn Vandals[edit]

Thank you for reverting the vandalism on North Nova Education Centre, but I'd recommend also warning the vandal responsible --- just look at this vandal's contributions and see how long it took for a warning to be given. I find most vandals will stop when warned --- the sooner the better. In this case, after I sent warnings I got a vandalized user page for my trouble, but vandals usually stop when warned. Thanks. Adam[edit]

Hi Lou, sorry about that, I just had some negative comments from a few people, if you have a look you will see that it has been restored. The only thing is, I have taken some material out becuase I was told that the article deviated from the subject. I think it was a case of to much info. Also, just curious, how did you find Sydney Coach Terminal the first time. Thanks Adam. User:mindys12345

2^11:3 pulldown in Telecine[edit]

Hi there. Thanks for reverting vandalism in Telecine, but 2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:3 pulldown is the actual correct term. See Talk:Telecine#2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:2:3 pulldown for more details. jhawkinson 00:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

vandalism in dota allstars[edit]

sorry i did not know that reversing vandalsim was considered vandalism, I will refrain from reversing vandalsim from now on thank you for pointing out the error of my ways. [/sarcasm] please examine my edits before you accuse me of vandalism

Humble apologies, I was too hasty with the above warning[edit]

My humblest apologies - when searching back I found a fair amount that had passed by MartinBot, and went back to when I was sure the last un-constructive edit was made... then went through with half a dozen warnings on userpages. Please accept my apologies, in future I will spend more time to check carefully before I make such an action. Lou 04:07, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

(restored from deletion - a good reminder for me to keep, I think - my response copied from userpage)

Howard Carter[edit]

Hi, Lou. I reverted some childish edit by 4.229.45.100 to Howard Carter(archaeologist), as I see you did also. Not sure why you sent me the message as I was trying to fix some vandalism. Unless you reverted to a version prior to the iteration I reverted. Just trying to help. Thanks. --68.42.61.62 22:19, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Lou. I appreciate the reply. I like Wikipedia, I have been "lurking" for awhile, and I saw an opportunity to help it remain a good resource instead of becoming a grafitti wall for childish vandalism. The revert was an experiment, as you said, and I'll probably create an account soon and join up. Thanks again. --68.42.61.62 11:31, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warning temps[edit]

Hi. Have a look at this new style of warning template and see if it might be of some use to you. To find more have a look at my user page and go to the drop down box that says V template. Hi, I've added a prod tag to the Alcopley article. No claim to notability is made in the article and I can't find anything on Google. If you can add anything to the article...I'm sure you know what to do. Thanks.--Ethicoaestheticist 23:30, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've found a reference and removed the prod tag now, following some helpful suggestions from User:Modernist. I think when I searched Google earlier I put quotation marks around the name, which didn't really work with the initial L.--Ethicoaestheticist 00:53, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
