The article Make Believe Me has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails the notability guideline for bands.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Inclusion criteria for Wikipedia and deletion of articles[edit]

A proposed deletion (PROD) is supposed to be uncontroversial. If you disagree with the reason that someone has given, you can simply halt the process at any time by following the instructions. Other forms of deletion are not so easy to avert, and it is common for a failed PROD to be brought to Articles for deletion, where a discussion will take place on whether the article in question passes our inclusion criteria. Specific inclusion criteria are available for bands and albums. Basically, there need to be critical reviews from professional journalists. Otherwise, Wikipedia has nothing to say. We're an encyclopedia, not a catalog of pop culture. You can get more information and help our forums: the tea house (a relaxed and friendly place for new users) and the helpdesk (a place to ask questions about Wikipedia). Speedy deletion nomination of Make Believe Me[edit]

Hello Lolcanoes,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Make Believe Me for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. v/r - TP 00:33, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Where the Heart Is (Make Believe Me) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Jackmcbarn (talk) 00:37, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
