Image permission problem with Image:Fabrizio Brienza.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Fabrizio Brienza.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — neuro(talk) 20:52, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alizina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 23:16, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Alizina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste:talk 23:26, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've re-formatted the "hangon" tag on the above-noted page for your convenience to ensure it gets noticed. You may want to have a look at this page, which lays out the standards against which articles about corporations are mentioned; other useful links would be WP:Your first article and WP:Why was my article deleted? The article Aram Sabet has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable person. No reliable sources. Fails WP:BIO.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Christopher Connor (talk) 20:03, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Vincent Forras has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable person. Fails WP:POLITICIAN, as well as the wider WP:BIO. Majority of the sources are self-referential/dead/marginal.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

The article Lynn Isenberg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No reliable, independent references that go into significant detail about her. Her movie credits include playboy movies, videos and shorts. Nothing to pass WP:FILMMAKER.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Disambiguation link notification for June 28[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Lynn Isenberg, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miss Congeniality (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Criterium-Tauscher Cronacher Professional Engineers[edit]

Hello Lkutaj,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Criterium-Tauscher Cronacher Professional Engineers for deletion, because it seems to be an promotion, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, †@πωεεṝ@me 05:46, 4 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

Hi, thanks for message. I think there are two related issues here.

  • The company may well be notable, but the article did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. All the references and both external links were sourced to pages associated in some way to the company.
  • It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. The text tells us little about the company, lots about what it sells. How many employees? Profit? Turnover?
  • Examples of claims that are either unsourced or sourced only to the company, but are nevertheless presented as fact include: created a systematic approach... marked the beginning of the building inspection industry... nationwide [I assume meaning US]... first home inspection firm... continued its expansion...
  • NABIE bit reads as if, in effect, the company is certifing itself (not a reason for deletion, stranger thing have been known)
  • I'm happy to sandbox the deleted text for you to work on if you, just let me know Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:44, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
