I see from your question at the Help desk that you need information about references. Start off (having read the links in the welcome message above) by looking at WP:Referencing for beginners. One important sentence in that document is "A citation to a reference must verify the statement in the text." Your article was inappropriately written to begin with, never mind that it was a completely unsourced biography (which are not allowed). Each Wikipedia project has its policies and guidelines - we don't abide by what can or cannot be done in the French Wikipedia.
