Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Allosaurus. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Bongwarrior (talk) 19:10, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Chinatown, Leeds, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chinatown, Leeds. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — Timneu22 · talk 16:10, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Emma Lanford requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi Leeds120, wikipedia is not regarded as a reliable source (see WP:circular), so I removed the affending citations. Pyrotec (talk) 21:33, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. I am entitled to edit any article I choose to, as are you, I simply happen to agree with [[Majabi]. Elland1 (talk) 15:44, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your most recent contribution, your eloquence is inspirational. You're actually a disgrace to Yorkshire and the human race for that matter. Don't threaten me again, if you do, you will regret it. Warmest regards you uneducated loser. Elland1 (talk) 17:22, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • There are several things that you aught to be aware of:
  • There is a requirement for WP:Civility, comments such as those [1] (even when/if provoked) could lead to you being banned.
  • Yours and other editors actions on Second city of the United Kingdom contravene the WP:3RR which could also lead to your blocking (and perhaps others).
  • Some of your claims appear to be unsupported using data that is currently available. They might be supported by newer data, but you have not supplied supporting evidence. For example, your claim that Leeds is the busiest station outside London does not appear to be supported by latest data available on the website of the Office of Rail Regulation (admittedly 2008-9 data), Glasgow Central station appears to be able to claim that title. Wikipedia (which could be wrong) also states that Glasgow Central has 17 platforms in use.
  • As far as I can see, there is a verifiable claim for 'Knightsbridge of North', another statement about it being a regional capital; a verifiable statement that BT regard it as their second city and a collection of other statements, some supported and some not; but these do not appear to support a claim that Leeds is regarded as a Second City of the UK.
  • Unverifiable claims and WP:OR can be removed by anyone. Rather than engaging in warfare that could lead to you being banned, your time would be better spent finding WP:Verifiable statements that support your point of view.
  • (finally), with a user name of Leeds120, the action that is going on with Second city of the United Kingdom and your interactions with other editors, you might be regarded as being somewhat biased (and that will not help your case).

The article Club Mission has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Spammy article about non-notable club added by now-blocked account. All ref's given are unreliable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
