Stats in football players' infoboxes[edit]

Hello, I'm Jaellee. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Leon Dajaku were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, --Jaellee (talk) 21:22, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please update the time stamps.--Jaellee (talk) 11:27, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And again. Do you have problems to understand what I wrote above or what else is your problem? --Jaellee (talk) 11:38, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please test your eyes. I've you read what I wrote at the beginning, You would see that at the bottom of each infobox there is something like Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only and correct as of and then comes a date. In Dajaku's case the date listed is the 2 October 2021. On 2 October, he had only 3 appearances and 1 goal. If you want to update the apps and goals, then please put in a correct time stamp, e.g. the current date or use five tildes (~~~~~) as described above. --Jaellee (talk) 13:15, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And again: You have to update the time stamp when you update the appearances and goals. If you don't know how to do this, please read the first two paragraphs of this section. If you still don't understand it I can try to explain it again. But I don't have the impression the that you even try to understand what you are doing wrong. See also Wikipedia:Competence is required. --Jaellee (talk) 22:03, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that we only include domestic league games in the infobox - so no Cup or Continental matches etc. Please also ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 17:37, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Leon Dajaku[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Leon Dajaku shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
