Disambiguation link notification for November 19

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aishwarya Rai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gujrati (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Vidya Balan edits

Please stop reverting my edits on Vidya Balan, if i have provided details about Awards and honors then i have also provided a reliable source for it so it can't be failed for FA, Please Don't revert any more my edits on Vidya Balan Greatuser (talk) 13:23, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Smaro, despite the fact that his edits may or may not have been correct, please understand that your behavior as seen here and here was bordering on incivility. If you had reverted more than once, you should have started a discussion in the talk page before reverting for the third time. In short, you were edit-warring. I do understand the fact that the Greatuser should have discussed the edits, but still, one could have seen some initiative from your side as well. Try to explain factually to a user if you have a problem with his or her edits. Thanks and regards. Secret of success · talk 10:58, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I understand the frustration in such situations, despite limited personal experience. I don't think there's provision to do anything but to discuss in the talk page and arrive at a consensus, for the betterment of the article and the atmosphere here as a whole. You've done some good work on the article, hopefully she'll make it to a deserving FA soon. Good luck for that. Secret of success · talk 11:26, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
You have messages in my page. Secret of success · talk 11:29, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
Replied in the talk page of Vidya Balan.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:16, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
As I feared, the FAC has got lukewarm response, despite the article being not-so-lengthy. Let's see what is the decision.--Dwaipayan (talk) 17:10, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
I think lack of familiarity with the subject (for non-Indian editors) is a reason. If you have a large article of an unfamiliar subject, it may be intimidating. A plus point of this article is it is not a very large article. Even then it might not have generated enough interest among readers.--Dwaipayan (talk) 16:52, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
Great! Now you have something to work on. The good point is the reviewer has told that prose is nearly there :)--Dwaipayan (talk) 18:14, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

On reference

One revenue needs to be refined or replaced. I think replacement will be better. Ref no. 39. The name is India Today Intnational. Publisher is Living Media international. The ref is wrongly formatted. Plus, it is not accessible. I think you can find an accessible and better reference for Safdar Hashmi killing or that the film was based on that.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:16, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

The thing that I liked most in Karanac's comment was the article was interesting to her. That is a coveted quality of an actor's biography, and I hoped Balan would generate at least some amount of interest (unlike many other run-of-the-mill bios). The FA delegate is also keeping an eye on the article. Let's see...--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:51, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
I hope it may pass.--Dwaipayan (talk) 14:52, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

BO

I create a new article for boxofficeindia website here, please give a look and check it.---zeeyanketu talk to me 13:23, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Opinion

I think you should Ian Ros whether you should ask the reviewers in their talk page for a possible spot check, or should you write a general request for anyone in the talk page of wp:FAC.--Dwaipayan (talk) 17:17, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Rai

Indeed Aishwarya Rai could be your next target. She is shaping up slim and better!--Dwaipayan (talk) 07:09, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Nah, not interested in her anymore! Jokes apart, I can try to have a go when and if you nominate the article for good article.--Dwaipayan (talk) 21:13, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
No, not in Kolkata now. In Connecticut.--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:47, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
