Stephen Stallings, Jr.

Born: December 9, 1994 (age 26) Louisville, Kentucky Education: St. Xavier High School, University of Kentucky (2013-2017) Parents: Pam and Stephen Stallings Siblings: Samantha Stallings

Stallings is from Louisville, Kentucky. In high school, Stallings was the 2011 Kentucky Individual State Champion and was named to the 2012 Kentucky All-State Team after three individual tournament wins at St. Xavier High School. In 2012 he was the Kentucky High School Coaches Association Senior of the Year. Played in many junior golf events and was a member of the 2011 AJGA Scholastic Honor Roll and 2012 AJGA – United States Golf Association Presidents’ Leadership Award Honorable Mention. He raised $5000 for CureSearch which lead to being named a finalist for the 2013 AJGA-USGA Presidential Leadership Award.

Stephen played Collegiate Golf at the University of Kentucky, Stallings was a four-year Varsity letter winner, named to the Ping Academic All-American Team, and was the Captain for the University of Kentucky Wildcats. He earned 2013-16 Academic honors in the SEC and named 2016 All-SEC Community Leadership Award recipient.

After turning professional Stephen Stallings has 4 PGA Tour starts: His First Professioanl PGA Tour tournament was played in Lexington, Kentucky at the 2019 Barbasol Championship where he finished 45th. After several wins and top finishes in Mini Tour events and Opens he played in the 2020 Coralles Championship in PuntaCana and finished 31st making that 2/2 on the PGA Tour.

In 2021 he Monday qualified into The Honda Classic where he was the only Monday qualifier to make the cut. He finished Tied for 65th. Stephen is an ambassador for the Make A Wish Foundation and currently resides in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

KentuckyGolf, He doesn't seem to meet WP:NSPORT. 35th place as a best finish in a Tour is not noteworthy enough for inclusion in an encyclopedia. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 03:10, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have to agree with CaptainEek. Stallings will need to either win a Tour tournament, make the cut in a major, or play a full season in the PGA Tour. I don't see where he's accomplished any of those three. —C.Fred (talk) 17:06, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
