Spencer et al. Please let us know what we need to send to you so you can stop reverting our changes. There are descriptions (such as "the Greater Cleveland Ohio area" that we want to use - why are these changes being reverted? Similar, "Other Championships" is an appropriate heading for Tennis and Lacrosse because these are not OHSAA sports. Please advise what we need to provide you to prevent the constant editing of our webpage. Thank you. K. Pleasant, University School Director of Marketing.

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. SpencerT♦C 03:59, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly SmackBot does not have an opinion on the content of the article, and simply adds dates to maintenance tags and other sundry cleanup.
Secondly you should probably read WP:COI.
Thirdly a bottle of single-malt is the stuff to send me, or a nice iPhone.

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:25, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kcpleasant, on Wikipedia there are several policies that you should familiarize yourself with. You say that you are the director of marketing of University School. Please be aware of policies/guidelines/other editing tips against the ownership of articles, about conflict of interest, using a neutral point of view, verifiability, and an editing essay Wikipedia:Avoid academic boosterism. Thanks, and happy editing, SpencerT♦C 22:27, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For an example of a featured, or in other words high-quality high school article that could serve as an example for editing, see Amador Valley High School. SpencerT♦C 22:28, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure where you say I was providing incorrect content...could you provide a diff? I'm not sure what you meant. Also, the article needs major layout help...for a guideline, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (layout). SpencerT♦C 22:31, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And could you explain why you removed content for the high school? The geodata is necessary for mapping purposes. And I believe you're confused...tennis is an OHSAA sport: [1]. SpencerT♦C 22:38, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, you mentioned "our changes" (cf. the top of your talk page). Please be aware of WP:NOSHARE, and if the account continues to be used by multiple people, it will be blocked. SpencerT♦C 22:44, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spencer et all[edit]

Thank you for the input, Spencer. I will refer to the articles and pages you referenced. Do you agressively "monitor" other pages as well - why do you chose to focus on certain pages? I specifically modeled University School of Nashville treatment of their mission statement since it seems you and others are leaving their formatting alone ...

For the record, the particular championships for Tennis and Lacrosse that are sited and referenced on our page is NOT from a OHSAA competition which is why they are (appropriately) under "other." fyi, as far as I know, the only person from University School that is attempting to update the University School page is me -my account is kcpleasant as you already know (are you affiliated with the school in any way?) - There are (as you know) multiple unsolicited contributors that are not (as far as I can tell) from University School. Again, thanks for the input, I will become familiar with the guidelines and will take your suggestions on the layout. I acquired a site that has had multiple contributors outside of University School - I'll be working on this over the next few weeks. Please continue to make suggestions. thx, kcpleasant

You said on Talk:University School: "Please advise what is needed on the webpage to prevent the constant editing by all of you. I acquired the responsibility of the site" ... this is not permitted on Wikipedia. Please see: Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. SpencerT♦C 04:13, 2 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
