Hey besties[edit]

Welcome to my talk page!

The Wretched Life of Juanita Narboni[edit]

Thank you for your edits on The Wretched Life of Juanita Narboni. I apologize for imprudently reverted your changes without an edit summary. I have tweaked the article a bit, again forgetting to add an edit summary.

The citations were certainly overkill, but I don't believe all but one is necessary. I agree with the fact that the synopsis was way too short and vague. Feel free to take a look at my revision and make any changes you deem necessary. Cheers! Moonswimmer Mooonswimmer

Charlotte Jacquot moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Charlotte Jacquot, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Pbrks (t • c) 04:19, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Scarface (1983 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Scarface. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hi JuxtaposedJacob! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. July 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Joshua Project has an edit summary that appears to be inadequate, inaccurate, or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 10:33, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Joshua Project, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You changed "people groups" to "people" which contradicts the source and was misleading as it underplayed the number Doug Weller talk 10:34, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there,
I read the source from the sentence to glean what a "people group" was, as I'd never heard that phrasing before, and I tried to make it less confusing with my edit. I wasn't aware there was a distinction and was assuming it was a poor translation.
Sorry about my mistake with the edit summary!

No problem. I think it's their terminology.[1]. Hm, that could be added if you want. Doug Weller talk 16:34, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not their phrase, they cite something for it. Doug Weller talk 16:35, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Weller
I changed Joshua project to cite their information about people groups. I didn't use the source that they cited because I thought their webpage was more relevant to our article. If you ould tell me your thoughts, that would be great. Thanks and have a nice day! JuxtaposedJacob (talk) 14:47, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Seems ok. Doug Weller talk 15:03, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Translation assistance[edit]

Hello, I'm KB from Binance. I came across your username on WP:TRLA. I'm looking for help creating a French translation of the Richard Teng article. I worked with editors at Articles for Creation to create the article, and now am trying to find editors to help me with translations. I have prepared a French version here and was wondering if you'd be willing to take a look and if everything is good, create the translated article on the French Wikipedia? Because I have a financial conflict, I don't directly create articles related to Binance.

Thanks so much. Let me know if you have any questions. KB at Binance (talk) 07:54, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
