Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Justinbenji. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:14, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, Justinbenji, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Ustinji (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 14:34, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Justinbenji. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Admins,

I am writing to appeal the recent block placed on my account (justinbenj) in connection with the Kourage Beatz NSI page. I understand and acknowledge my previous mistake in creating multiple accounts to publish the page when it was protected, and I sincerely apologize for any disruption caused. I have engaged in open communication with the administering user, explaining my genuine passion for the subject and my lack of awareness regarding Wikipedia rules at the time. Following our discussion, I received permission to resume work on the page and subsequently submitted it for review. Prove here (User_talk:Lectonar#Request_From_Justinbenji_(9:12,_27_January_2024)). Unfortunately, I find myself blocked at this crucial stage, preventing me from contributing further to the review process. I want to emphasize my commitment to adhering to Wikipedia guidelines and assure you that I have learned from my oversight. I kindly request the unblocking of my account so that I may continue to contribute positively to the Kourage Beatz NSI page and the Wikipedia community as a whole. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to a resolution that allows me to rectify my mistake and contribute responsibly to Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

You should request unblock from your original account after satisfying the requirements of the standard offer. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:46, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You were just blocked yesterday, so I think you might need to wait six months without further deceptive editing and then ask for an unblock. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:43, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
