Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics[edit]

Your reference formatting was incorrect. I combined it with another sentence to create a cohesive paragraph, while properly formatting the reference (date format etc.). Do not revert. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:04, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Literally what you wrote is in the paragraph "The four gold medals won represented the lowest total since 1994, and which meant the country finished outside the top ten of the medal table for the first time since 1988." Not sure why you insist on having a separate paragraph for it. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:08, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
When have I EVER written that? That's not what I written. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1073512289 Jungkook1996 (talk) 03:09, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Its in different words, but what you wrote is said in that sentence. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:11, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the 11th place and 34 years in brackets to make it even more obvious to you. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 03:12, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What you wrote is closer to a word salad. You kept adding in 2010, despite its not that relevant and bit confusing. And you added 34 years in brackets instead of simply saying, "This was the first time the country has finished outside the top ten in the medal table in 34 years". Nobody automatically gets what it means to write brackets but everyone can read a conventional sentence easier. But whatever. Think mine was much more straightforward to read. But I am not wanting to waste time arguing over semantics. Jungkook1996 (talk) 03:22, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I had placed them in brackets as you insisted on saying 11th place. I like your sentence better but still insist on including 1988 somehow. 34 years doesn't really mean much unless you link the specific event. The 2010 information is directly from the source. Okay I suppose that actually makes some sense. It's slightly a bit hard to read but I can accept that explanation and so won't revert that edit again. Jungkook1996 (talk) 03:30, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
