Don't worry about it.[edit]

Hey.

Well, hectic schedules are always a problem. I guess in some ways, it's kind of good that I only get online over the weekends, because sometimes, it distracts me from getting more important things done. Anyway, don't worry about a hectic schedule. I mean, I've got friends who sometimes don't get back to me for weeks. So it's not the end of the world.

Anyway, yes, I do like Kim Possible and I am glad that Wikipedia has given me a voice for the show. I guess I'm not too surprised that some people aren't into it though. I think that a contributing factor is that with all the anime running around these days (even though I am an anime fan, don't get me wrong there), a lot of people have turned their backs on Disney shows just because their Disney shows. But to these people, I have to simply say, your loss.

Disney's cranked out quite a few good animated programs in the last few years. I mean, Filmore is just damn funny, there's no other way to say it. Anyone who liked Earthworm Jim back in the 90s I'm sure will get a kick out of Dave the Barbarian (who doesn't love the idea of a villain who calls himself THE DARK LORD, CHUCKLES THE SILLY PIGGY!!!?). I don't watch The Weekenders much, but when I have, I find it quite witty. Recess, I have to admit, I only watch when King Bob is on the show. But Kim Possible stands heads and tails above all of these. Any show I can turn on and laugh with for five minutes at a time is a keeper in my book. In fact, I would honestly have to say that Kim Possible is the best show Disney's cranked out since Gargoyles and they made that over 10 years ago (although you can't really compare both shows, since that's kind of an apples to oranges thing).

Having said that, I think you're probably right about Season 4. I mean, with most TV seasons these days kicking off in late September, early October, if Season 4 was really going to start when they say, we would have already seen ads for it. I mean, Disney's going to put their media machine behind this for at least two months before starting with the new shows. So we probably won't see anything until closer to mid-season.

Anyway, once the new season kicks off, the edits for the Kim Possible section should get interesting. I think what a lot of the Ron fans are going to be wondering is whether or not he's actually going to get the Mystical Monkey Power thing going on for an extended period of time this season. I mean, ever since he got it, the guy's been lightning in a bottle. They just never really gave us more than a taste of what he's capable of with it. I think if they actually arrange it so that Ron gets the Monkey Power working for a lengthy period, it's going to manifest itself in one of two ways. Either A.) a rematch with Monkey Fist and Ron just completely destroys him or B.) Ron against a small army of goons, turn him loose and just watch the bodies go flying. I've often said that when Ron gets a full head of steam when his Mystical Monkey Power kicks in, the only person in Kim Possible's rogues' gallery who would even have a chance of stopping him would be Shego. And even then, it would be too close to call. I wonder if we'll find out this season.

Anyway, I'm ranting again. I should let you get back to what you're doing. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

Ahhh, I see.[edit]

Hey.

Hmmm, regular TV, huh? Well, that's what DVDs and Internet downloads are for these days. I don't download stuff off the net as a rule, but I've checked a few small things out and I know what's available out there if you really look for it. So anything you want to find, I'm sure you'll find it. Who knows, you'll probably see these new episodes online even faster than I will, waiting for them to come on TV one week at a time. And probably as LOT faster than waiting for them to come out on ABC. I've noticed that a lot of ABC's animated programming is really just Disney Channel's hand-me-downs. They don't even really show all the Kim Possible episodes that are out there.

Yeah, I have to admit as well, Kim Possible does something for me that none of the other Disney shows do. I mean, I like Gargoyles too, but like I said before, that's an apples to oranges argument, because Gargoyles is a drama series, while Kim Possible is primarily a comedy. And Kim Possible does make me laugh like few shows do. I think what it is about Kim Possible is that you have to take into account the fact that pretty much everyone on the show is completely insane, except Shego. Which, if you think about it, is what makes Shego such a perfect villain, because really, the only REAL wrongdoing in Kim Possible's world is trying to think logically.

Please understand that when I say that, it's not a knock on the show. If anything, it's just common sense. I mean, if you're going to create this wild, wacky, over-the-top environment, you have to have equally wild, wacky, over-the-top characters to inhabit it. Because that's the only way it works. Even Kim is completely crazy, it's just in a more subtle way. I mean, think about it. She not only reigns in this insane world that she lives in, but she rules it as well. You may not HAVE to be crazy to do that, but you've got to admit, it helps.

Anyway, moving on with Ron, I do agree with what you said. I mean, speaking from experience, I can honestly say that few things are more inspiring than the love of a good woman. And with Kim on his arm, Ron could be on the verge of achieving great things. Kim may very well be the key to turning Ron into a major force now that they have a much stronger emotional connection. But having said that, I don't think they're going to bring Ron up too high too fast. I think they may bring his game up a little bit, make him a little more experienced, a little more confident. But beyond that, I think they're going to pretty much leave Ron as he is. An underdog whose star shines brightest only when it absolutely has to. Because we've seen this before and it's why Ron has such a strong fan base. Whenever Ron steps out of his comfort zone and manages to reach a new level, it's always one of those magical moments that makes you see just how special he really is.

Ultimately, that was the point I was trying to make when I posed the question if they were going to show him controlling his Mystical Monkey Power for an extended period of time. I mean, if it happens, it'll probably happen once, maybe twice and that's it. Enough to give him one of those magical moments. But if they do something like make his Mystical Monkey power come out whenever he wants, they'll basically be turning him into another Kim and we don't really need that. We don't really want it either. I mean, let's face it, we WANT to keep seeing Ron improve and evolve step by step. One day, he'll have come far enough to be Kim's equal. But this is one of those cases where the journey is more important than the destination.

Speaking of Ron, I just added a new edit to his page in the Kim Possible Section. See if you can spot what it is.;)

One more thing really quickly and then I'll let you go. If you like Kim Possible, I have a movie to recommend to you. It was made in the early 90s and it's called "Undercover Blues", starring Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner. Basically, the two main characters in this movie, Jane and Jeff Blue, if you took Kim and Ron, aged them 10 years and gave them a baby, I think this is about 80-90% what you'd get. I'll give you a few quotes as examples...

  1. 1

JANE: "Let me see if I understand this correctly. You took our child into a knife fight?"

JEFF: "It was a fair fight. Two of them, two of us."

  1. 2

JEFF: "I don't carry a gun."

JANE: "Jeff's a lousy shot anyway. He had to bribe the examiner at the FBI."

JEFF: "That's a lie! I bribed the guy at the CIA. I BLACKMAILED the guy at the FBI."

Anyway, thank you for weathering another one of my rants. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

Thanks for the smile![edit]

Hey, thanks for the message! It's nice to see someone on Wikipedia who has somewhat similar views as that seem quite rare around here. Anyway if you require my assistance on anything feel free to ask. Thanks again! -- Grandpafootsoldier

No sweat.[edit]

Hey.

Hmmm, you sound a lot like my old roommate. He never watched TV either. He just sat in his room and downloaded whatever he wanted onto his computer (once he got it up and running, of course, which took him over a year and a half because it kept crashing on him).

Anyway, yeah, I tend to look beneath the surface of things a lot, having somewhat of a creative mind myself (I'm sure you've noticed, by this time;)). I see it as kind of a strength, because I look at the possibilities and I wonder just how many of them will actually make it onto the show. It's one of the things that also gives me a perspective on "So The Drama" that I don't know if a lot of people share. There are a couple scenes where while it looks like the characters are saying one thing, you actually have to peel back about three or four layers to see what's really on their minds.

As for Ron, I never really said he'd take center stage one day. Kim will always have that. I was just saying that Ron will get to her level someday.

Glad you liked the addition I made to Ron's page. Yeah, you do have to remember these things in order to make the connections. And I'm usually the guy to go to for that. Like Bill Watterson wrote in his "Calvin & Hobbes" comic strip, "I'm not dumb, I just have an arsenal of thoroughly useless information."

As for "Undercover Blues", I was pretty certain that you've never seen it before, which is why I recommended it to you. Honestly, I think you'd get a real kick out of it, particularly the film's running gag of this mugger who calls himself Muerte ('For DEATH!" as he says) who they basically just keep destroying over and over again. It's also kind of spooky how many things these two say and do that you could easily see Kim and Ron doing (even though Jeff does a few things that I think would be more suited to Kim than Ron), especially since the movie predates the show by almost 15 years.

Anyway, a slightly shorter rant this time, which I'm sure comes as a relief to you. I know, I tend to be long winded at times, but I usually get all these thoughts in my head and if I don't get the chance to communicate them to someone, they pretty much just stay in my head and drive me crazy. Anyway, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

Hello Jumping Cheese (an interesting moniker), I appreciate the new brain. I could use it as I believe my old one is worn out, damaged, or just malfunctioning as of late. I have asked for a refund, but gotten no replies. I am pretty new to contributing to this Wiki and I am slowly finding my way around. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in regards to archiving, etc. Thank you for visiting. GetAgrippa 10:52, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the assistance![edit]

Thanks for retrieving and archiving my talk page. I had also accidentally removed my previous user page and had computer problems and lost it, been working on an old labtop that goes haywire at times. I appreciate your time and assistance in the matter. Hope you have a great day. GetAgrippa 13:30, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's okay.[edit]

Hey.

Well, I know what that's like, procrastination. I still haven't provided any information for my Member Section in Wikipedia. Although, if you think about it, that's really what makes Wikipedia so perfect, because unlike a website, where you practically have to make constant updates all the time, Wikipedia allows you to make changes whenever you feel like it. In my case, I make updates whenever things come to mind. Although as far as the Kim Possible section is concerned, I'm running out of things to mention, other than little bits and pieces, so here's hoping the new shows start airing soon, eh? Although at this point, it's looking pretty obvious that it's not going to happen until probably mid-season.

Anyway, yeah, I've got a lot of information stored inside my head that some people would probably have no use for. Comics, video games, anime, TV shows, you name it. If you've got a question about it, chances are I can give you an answer.

Well, Undercover Blues is a relatively older movie, so it could be that nobody thought to put it online before. Still, if you can check out a music store or someplace that has a wide selection of DVDs, you could probably pick up a copy dirt cheap. I mean, the copy I picked up was like, 12 bucks.

Yeah, I noticed the archive on your discussion page. And yes, it certainly does clean the page up. So I definitely approve.

Anyway, that's pretty much all for now. And again, don't worry about late replies. Remember, there are some people I know that I won't hear from for weeks. Here's hoping I hear from you soon, though.

Cerritos, California[edit]

I've left a message at User talk:Publicdefender99 regarding their repeated deletion of the Cerritos, California#City Council Controversy section, and also created a section on the Cerritos talk page at Talk:Cerritos, California#City Council Controversy so that, if possible, any discussion can occur in a centralized place. Publicdefender99 does not have their email enabled, but it looks like both of do have email contacts enabled, so I would not be surprised if their next move is to contact one or both of by email.

I am also leaving a message about this editing dispute at Wikipedia:WikiProject Southern California so that hopefully we can get a few more eyeballs watching over the page. This seems to be my week for edit disputes, with an edit war going on over at RMS Queen Mary over an external link. BlankVerse 08:37, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem.[edit]

Hey.

Well, I'll have to see what I want to put on the page before I start making it up. After all, it is best if these sorts of things are planned out, right?

Well, as for Season 4 of Kim Possible, I'd have to go out on a limb at this point and assume that it's probably going to hit TV mid season at the earliest. But you never know, it might turn up online sooner than that. People these days have no shortage of resources to acquire material if they're motivated enough.

As for your talk page, yeah, archiving it is a good idea. It just makes the whole thing easier to scroll through and you don't have to start at the beginning all the time. All around, it's just a prudent thing to do. Kind of cleans everything up a bit.

Well, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.

Fellow Cerritotian[edit]

I'm thinking of creating an article for the library in the very near future...do you happen to have any pictures of the place so that copyright doesn't become an issue in illustrating one of our town's highlights?

I dont see why it needs to be on our city page. It is not consistent with the rest of the article. How long do you want it there for? Indefinitly or just until election day?

Thanks[edit]

Thanks a lot for the barnstar--I really appreciate it! Happy editing and cheers to our town! AManSac 08:31, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kim Possible[edit]

Actually, there have been at least two Kim Possible movies relased, and WikiProject Films includes film characters. So the headers, should be re-added. So unless you have any more reasons why they should be removed, I'll let you re-add them, because I don't to make it seem like I'm breaching something like the Three Revert Rule. Cbrown1023 23:33, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever you think. I'm adding the tag using AWB to most film characters because of a recent change in our policy that includes film characters also... I think you are right though, only the main characters, like Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Rufus, Wade, Doctor Drakken, and Shego should be tagged. I'll re-add those. Thank you, and if you have any more questions or whatever, feel free to contact me. Cbrown1023 23:44, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No worries.[edit]

Hey.

Well, don't worry about late replies. Like I said, I'm used to people who take a while to get back to me. Most of my friends I can't see more than once a week anyway.

Anywho, I'm waiting patiently for the new Kim Possible season to come out as well. I'm sure they'll be advertising it come December/January. As for animated series, I mostly prefer the Simpsons myself. To me, the Simpsons is one of those shows which got better with age, because it started out fairly serious and then got just wild and crazy, which I prefer. King of the Hill, I'll watch sometimes too. Not nearly as much as the Simpsons, but some of their episodes are pretty good.

Family Guy, well...it was okay for the first couple of seasons. But ever since Season 3, it just seems like the series creator, Seth McFarlane, has kind of gotten into this "Andy Kaufman" phase with his comedy, in that he doesn't seem to care if anyone else gets the joke just as long as HE gets the joke. And I think he's kind of alienating his audience a little by doing that. And by the time he says something ACTUALLY meaningful on the show these days, pretty much anyone who would've appreciated it has most likely turned him off. Not to mention the fact that I think there should be a scene in every Family Guy episode now where Peter gets dragged out into the street and pistol whipped by an angry mob. Ever since the episode where Peter's IQ was measured as "borderline retarded", McFarlane probably could have spun that into something interesting. But instead, he seems to be using it as an excuse to turn Peter into an even bigger jerk than he was before.

As for South Park, I was never really a fan. In fact, a long time ago, I came up with an idea for the perfect South Park series finale, AND I TRIPLE DOG DARE THOSE TWO IDIOTS TO TAKE ME UP ON THIS!!! The entire town of South Park gets wiped out in a natural disaster. Everybody dies...KENNY LIVES!

I've got the perfect title for that episode too. It's called "JUSTICE"!

As for anime, well, you do have a point. Even a lot of the more light-hearted series become serious as they reach the climax of the story ("Sailor Moon" is an example, although the manga was always pretty serious). "Trigun" and "Full Metal Alchemist" are two perfect examples of animes that started out light-hearted and then just turned black because all the main characters were getting broken down to the point where they hit rock bottom right before the climax of the story. Even "Ranma 1/2" and "Zatch Bell", which are two of the funniest animes out there, have some pretty long, dramatic storylines from time to time.

Still, I was into anime before anime was cool. I was watching the old "Gatchaman" series back when it was called "Battle of the Planets", for crying out loud. I watched "Astro Boy" when I was eight/nine years old (they actually ran it on TV in the school library during lunch). But when I saw "Galaxy Express 999" at age 12 and saw that anime wasn't just "kids' stuff", I was hooked. Of course, the flow of anime kind of trickled off for a few years except for occasional shows like "Saber Rider" and "Samurai Pizza Cats" (actually "Samurai Pizza Cats" is a show I think you'd like, not a lot of drama in it). Then "Sailor Moon" came along and that's what really led the charge into anime becoming mainstream over here.

Still, if you're not into soap operas, there are actually a few series out there that might be worth your while. The first would have to be the manga series, "Dr. Slump". It was the series Akira Toriyama created before he went on to create "Dragonball". It's basically just all comedy and nothing serious in it at all. Another such manga is "Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo", but that series is so completely off the wall that I don't think there's a single person on the planet that could make any sense of it. But I would also recommend to you two series created by Kiyohiko Azuma. First was his manga comic strip series "Azumanga Daioh" (that went on to become an anime series, which is funny in its own right) and the series he's currently working on, called "Yotsuba &". Both these series are also pretty easy on the wallet too, since "Azumanga Daioh" only had four volumes and "Yotsuba &" currently has only three (the "Azumanga Daioh" anime has six volumes).

As for subtitles in anime, I can understand your frustration. I'd rather hear someone than read them, myself. But it's an argument that will exist as long as anime does, I'm afraid. There will always be those who prefer dubs and those who think dubbing anime is sacrilege. Personally, I'm of the school of thought that there are situations where both are acceptable. I've just gotten used to dubs in some cases and the subtitles in others. Still, I guess my one main complaint with subtitles is that sometimes there are too many at once or they don't stay on the screen long enough, so on certain occasions, you actually have to pause the show to actually make sure you can read everything.

And for the record, your use of the word "taxed" was appropriate for that sentence.

Anyway, that's all for now. Gotta get some other stuff done. Hope to hear from you soon.

Later.

WHS vandalism[edit]

FYI, "Karl" (possible alias Jason Didio) is back and there are numerous people who are following his example in Wikipedia vandalism. "Karl" (possible alias Jason Didio) have been been attacking from several new public nodes from within the Cerritos area (some nodes belong to a city network, others are private and have been traced to this area). Also see the edits of the school network. I am considering to seriously talk to Mustillo about this abuse. Typer525 Talk 04:22, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sure unless either my informant or Jason lied. "Karl" did leave an email address though... Anyway, I would hold off talking with Jason until I have someone check it out again. Typer525 Talk 06:31, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jumping Cheese,

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

I hope other Taiwanese Canadians will help contribute to the article on "Taiwanese Canadians".

That would be really cool.

I write, based on my experiences as a former Seattlelite of Taiwanese American heritage, and having relatives who have immigrated to Vancouver, BC in 1993, and another relative who has immigrated there this year. Through other family friends, I have meet other Taiwanese who have recently moved to Vancouver as well.

Right now, there seems to be more literature available for Taiwanese Americans, but less for Taiwanese Canadians.

Cerritos, California#2006 City Council controversy[edit]

Regarding this edit to Cerritos, California#2006 City Council controversy:

For information on how to properly cite a reference on the Wikipedia, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources and Wikipedia:Citing sources/example style, and for specific information on how to use embedded HTML links as citations, see Wikipedia:Embedded Citations.

I had changed all of the references in that section to meet Wikipedia guidelines. Why did you change them back to a non-standard method? BlankVerse 05:47, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All three main citation methods (HTML, Harvard, and Ref) have their advantages and disadvantages, as mentioned at WP:CITE and the related guidelines. It looks like the Ref tag, however, has become the most common. I personally don't have a preference, as long as it isn't the pseudo-wikilinks style that the article got changed back to, which is just plain wrong IMHO. It makes that section look like a blog instead of a properly referenced encyclopedia article. BlankVerse 10:15, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Air Disaster[edit]

Hey Jumping cheese, incidentally, right before you left me a message...I had just finished updating the tag on the air disaster photo. Talk about perfect timing! Oh, and I agree...I think the image of the air disaster memorial should be added to the Cerritos, California article, perhaps in the "history" section. So far, I haven't found a place where I can stick it in without disrupting the text and organization of the section. By all means, if you can find a spot to place it, you have my support! Jd27765 06:17, 25 October 2006 (UTC) Yes I know it is up to typer525 to remove HIS comments he made about me, but I'd like you to remove the comments YOU made about me, especially the insulting ones that have no factual basis, I'd honestly like to see you sit on me, its funny how tough someone is when they hide behind the anonymity of their computer screen. But to simply resolve the conflict you've put yourself in, and as a favor to me, kindly remove my name from your comments, they were unjust as I didn't vandalize the site, and they were insulting. Its up to Typer525 to remove his, but you're responsible for yours. Jd27765 06:27, 25 October 2006 (UTC) -Simply put, im an investigative genius, I have no idea who you are, as I've never spoken to you or felt inclined to do so, but I managed to track you down within 5 minutes of discovering your guy's comments about me (=. -First of all, those comments WERE NOT made by me, in fact I play WoW and watch naruto lol, so I can assure you, they aren't me. They do not even sound like me, they were just some random vandal, and by the way i do not approve of vandalism just as you don't and like I said I want you to relinquish me as a suspect as it seriously makes me angry. And you have the power to remove those comments as they do not have any name attached to them. Jd27765 06:46, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I dont understand what you are talking about, I never posted on Wikipedia untill today when someone showed me the link to the talk page that had my name on it, I am not Karl, I am Jason, and I posted to say that it wasnt me, god is your reading comprehension that horrible? Jd27765 07:06, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Popups[edit]

Popups are great, but you usually don't want to use the default summary for a reversion of something that's not vandalism, as you did here. Instead, just type a short explanation for why you are reverting into the summary box. Thanks! Λυδαcιτγ 01:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

David Brookwell[edit]

Hey Jumping cheese, since you created a page for Sean McNamara, I thought I'd be the one to create a page for David Brookwell since they do own a production company together.

Oh and by the way have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!! Quasyboy 13:32, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

UCLA taser[edit]

While i know, you have a heavy pro-police bias in the matter, your version which states 'resisted', and makes no mention of multiple taserings while being handcuffed is utterly unacceptable. While the inclusion of the students remarks (which according to some reports came after the first tasering) is questionable, im willing to include it as a part of a compromise as long willingness to leave and taserings while already subdued and non-threatingin is also mentioned. i think of something like this.

When the UCPD officers arrived at the scene Tabatabainejad was already trying to leave according to witnesses, with his backpack on his back. After verbally accosting the officers, they tasered him multiple times, while being handcuffed on the floor, unable to resist. Geza 03:51, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Im currently quite happy with the state of the article as edited by Omegatron which now contains only a very brief description "UCPD officers were called to the scene and eventually "resorted to use of the Taser."", while all relevant information is in the other parts of the article. Originally i felt that mentioning the shouting and verbal abuse in the description, while omitting every other aspect of the incident, was unfair towards the student. On a sidenote not regarding the article, what is your opininon of the tasering AFTER the subject was restrained and in handcuffs? do you find it acceptable on any level? Geza 06:10, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I have no issue with the article as of now, it seems well balanced. Issues will be sorted out as they come up im sure. I was intrested in your opininon personally not in any connection with the article. Geza 06:49, 26 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

I just wanted to let you that Category:Kim Possible voice actors was deleted. Although I didn't take part in discussion to keep it or not, I just don't understand why it needed to be deleted. I thought was a great category with a bunch of great names. Quasyboy 24:10, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:McChicken India.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. 1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

Your signature[edit]

I don't know if anyone have mentioned this to you, but it was made clear that no images should be used on signatures according to Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages#Images. I like the image you used (it's humorous), but I found it really distracting sometimes. AQu01rius (User • Talk) 16:53, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The link that AQu01rius included in their message makes it very clear that images in signature are verboten for quite a few different reasons.
"Images of any kind should not be used in signatures."

Keep in mind that using Unicode means that on some computers the characters will just display as a question mark or box if the default font doesn't have that character. I know around the time that I joined the Wikipedia that many editors were upset because an editor's signature was completely in some obscure character set (Icelandic runes or something similar if I remember correctly) which ended up being rendered as all question marks on most people's computers.
From Smiley, I found ☺, although it is hard to tell what the character is at small font sizes or on small computer screens. BlankVerse 02:09, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's better looking.
FYI: Specifying the font in a signature usually doesn't cause problems for displaying a signature because if the user's computer doesn't have the font, the browser falls back on the default fonts.
Specifying the point size, however, can be a problem. Think about visually-impaired editors who may have their browsers set to the largest font that their browser will display. Your signature will show a very small "Jumping cheese" and much large everything else.
The length of your signature is something that some users may complain about. The recommendations are two lines of text or less. On my computer, yours is four lines when viewed in the edit window at 1024x768. You may not like all the changes, but I shrunk your sig in the modified version above down to three lines. I personally don't think the email link is necessary. I've never used one, and you'll see very few signatures have one.
For comparison, my signature is two lines, and currently 138 characters. I've thought about getting rid of the perscript code, which would eliminate another 22 characters. BlankVerse 23:13, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to your message, what specific criterion of WP:CSD do you think Tara (Kim Possible character) meets? Sandstein 06:05, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. As this redirect is the result of a merger, deleting it is not housekeeping, as mergers usually result in redirects in order to preserve the page history for licencing purposes. It's also not the result of an implausible typo, so R3 is out as well. If you want this redirect deleted, the proper procedure is listing it at WP:RfD. Sandstein 06:48, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kim Possible Re-editing[edit]

I am curious to find out exactly why you are continually removing valid content from the Kim Possible article? Specifically information pertaining to the potential relationship between Kim and Shego? I can think of no good reason for this not to be included, and am curious to find out why it is being removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Triaxx2 (talkcontribs) 02:56, 24 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
