You may find this template useful. For example instead of "Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>" you can just write "{{Chem|Al|2|O|3}}" (Al
₂O

Brutalism lead fixes[edit]

Since there were previously no sources to support your claim that brick was a common feature in Brutalist designs, I went and found one—so there's now sourced mention of this fact in the lead paragraph, you'll be happy to find. I've additionally added a sentence about the etymology of the phrase which clarifies its roots, and split the history paragraph into a part on the origins, and a part on the actual applications of the style. Your connection of the "materials such as exposed concrete..." to the section on institutional buildings isn't supported by any sources—those materials were just as often used in flats and council houses—so I moved that to the section that mentions the general elements associated with the style, alongside brick, timber, etc. gentlecollapse6 (talk) 04:04, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

PS I want to emphasize that I strongly believe the description of commonly-used materials NEEDS to remain in the first paragraph—it's essential to the introduction. There was actually a few sources on building materials listed in the Characteristics section but I added a couple more citations - including one that mentions the use of concrete being favored for government buildings, etc, but since the line has been rewritten it fits more Brutalists projects in general now anyway so it's probably a moot point.
