Hello,

Did you actually read my edits ? They may not be perfect but I tried to significantly flesh out the article. Why do you think they were "not constructive" ? Plemmianikovski (talk) 15:06, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

@Plemmianikovski: Heyo, you are completely correct, I did not read your edit. I managed to click the revert button by mistake, as I was rolling back another edit from a vandal. I have already removed the warning I put on your talk page and undid my revert. Again, I apologize. Happy editing! Johand199 (TalkContribs)
Apologies accepted. But I must say it was a bit of a shock at the moment. Plemmianikovski (talk) 15:12, 2 October 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Draft:Dr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava

Hello Johand199. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Draft:Dr. Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 only applies to articles in mainspace, not to drafts. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 16:53, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

Dear Johand, The text was removed as it is based on false information which constitutes a public damage to INTA and CSIC image. Please let us know if this is enough information. Thank you, Miguel — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miguel Apéstigue (talkcontribs) 08:33, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

Hello Johand199,

I see you have deleted my reply on Wikipedia: Unusual place names because it was considered "not constructive." I edited that in for humor because it says on the top of the page that some material is kept because it is considered humorous. If you understand what I'm talking about, can you please edit it back in or let me do it?

9termunde

P.S. I did not have an account when I edited that page, but I have one now. 9termunde (talk) 19:56, 7 October 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 9termunde (talkcontribs) 19:52, 7 October 2020 (UTC)

Book:Research for book5

Hi, just wanted to say that warning for the blanking of Book:Research for book5 wasn't optimal. Usually when the creator of a page blanks the page that is taken as them requesting it should be deleted per G7. This is quite common for pages nominated for deletion especially when they are plausibly test pages. Thanks for your recent changes patrolling! --Trialpears (talk) 19:20, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

@Trialpears: Heyo, thanks for the heads up. When I am looking back at it, I do agree that the warning wasn’t the best thing to do. Since there was already proposed deletion template on it, I was a bit torn between placing a G7 or revert back to have the original delete request. By the way, love the message you put on his talk page, a lot better than the template I put on. Thanks again for the learning opportunity! Johand199 (Talk) 19:26, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

User:31.15.171.4 appears to be at it again.

Hi - you recently warned an IP User talk:31.15.171.4 to stop removing material from pages. They seem to be doing it again. I've reverted what I could find. Your user page suggests you are experienced with handling vandalism. Is there any chance you could take this up? (I've no experience reporting this sort of stuff.) OsFish (talk) 14:20, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

@OsFish: Heyo! Unfortunately I am not close to my home computer right now to take a look at it. However, anyone can report and warn users. I recommend checking out CVU to learn more about the Counter-Vandalism Unit. They got a lot of good articles and help sections that’s worth reading. Most importantly, identify what a vandal is, revert the changes, give the correct warning, and finally report them if their behavior continues. Johand199 (Talk) 14:54, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

Trouted

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: As per your instruction to replace dead link With fresh content . I tried to update the dead link Anilckl (talk) 18:08, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

@Anilckl: Heyo! A blog post is not a reliable source, and from your edit history it seemed like you are using Wikipedia for promotion or advertising purposes. Feel free to update the dead link with something more appropriate following those guidelines. Thanks, Johand199 (Talk) 18:13, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

Prof Whitty

Hi, The image on Professor Whitty's web page is of a woman (or a man dressed as a woman) and does not appear to be Professor Whitty Pep27871 (talk) 18:30, 12 October 2020 (UTC) Pep27871 (talk) 18:30, 12 October 2020 (UTC)

@Pep27871: Heyo! You are correct, the image was incorrect. There has been multiple vandals on the page, so there is ongoing progress to remove the vandals and request page protection. However, the reason I reverted your edit was due to you blanking the whole infobox instead of replacing just the image. Hope your staying safe and enjoy the rest of your day!
