I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]
Hello, Jip Orlando. Thank you for your work on Don Dannemann. Trainsskyscrapers, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Added several sources from reputable music publications, removed the notability tag, archived sources to maintain links, and completed some minor formatting edits. Job well done.

Inferno[edit]
Please explain why you removed an external link which was described as what it is: the translation of a valid source in German, only trying to make it more accessible to readers who don't understand the German? -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:16, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: I removed the EL because the site is on the spam blacklist. If you try to add it back you'll get an error. I'm working to clean these up as the site is of very dubious veracity and copies others' work and bills it as their own. Jip Orlando (talk) 22:26, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for explaining! I don't know why you think I'd move it back. I understand that you removed it because the website is blacklisted, but I tried to explain that in this particular case, all that it supplied was a translation, which might help readers. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:37, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- My response was meant to have been a generic 'you;' I should have said 'one.' Is the translation available elsewhere? I read up on spam blacklist things before undertaking the cleanup task.. basically the source/website is defacto deprecated, in that it can't be added back once removed. Unfortunately, the spam blacklist is a sledgehammer in this regard and there'll be baby/bathwater situations. However- having the blacklisted links extant in ELs and citations creates problems when patrolling for vandalism and bad faith actors, hence the removal. Jip Orlando (talk) 23:17, 18 March 2024 (UTC)

April 2024[edit]
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you revert April Fools jokes, as you did at User:Jimbo Wales. [April Fools!] TheTechie (formerly Mseingth2133444) (t/c) 18:32, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Jimbo's page is viewed most by a general, non-regular-editing audience and replacing it with an April fools template is a bit much. I try to have a sense of humor but this wasn't very funny, imo. Jip Orlando (talk) 20:02, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Okay. I thought that that a user couldn't see it but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ TheTechie (formerly Mseingth2133444) (t/c) 23:51, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
