List of fast food restaurant chains

Then why don't you put these back as well and ignore the capslocked commentary that says that you're not supposed to do that. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 08:36, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Repeated deletions in Israel section of list of fast food chains

I report that at 12:21, 24 March 2015‎ user:Harry the Dirty Dog again deleted links to McDonald's Israel and Burger King Israel in List_of_fast_food_restaurant_chains#Israel. User Harry and also user:Jeraphine Gryphon keep deleting links to articles about local Israeli branches of global chains - while at the same time they are protecting similar listings of country specific articles in other country sections, such as A&W (Canada) in List_of_fast_food_restaurant_chains#Canada and Krispy Kreme UK in List_of_fast_food_restaurant_chains#United_Kingdom. It is clear that Israel section deserves the same level of protection against harsh deletions as is enforced in Canada and UK sections. My attempts to restore order will be inevitably reverted - so I have to ask you for help and assistance as you are experienced Wikipedia user specialized in fast food chains. Thank you. --Bluewind (talk) 21:07, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Please read the instructions for that particular page. They quite clearly state that international chains are to be listed only in the country they were founded in. Burger King was founded in the USA, not in Israel. A&W Canada is a separate chain with no relation to the US company. Not sure about Krispy Kreme in the UK but it should be removed too if it is simply a subsidiary of the US company. Harry Let us have speaks 21:43, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
(I've gone ahead and removed Krispy Kreme UK as it is just a subsidiary. The page would simply become unwieldy if we listed every international chain in each country where they operate. That info can be found by looking at the chain's own article. Harry Let us have speaks 21:52, 24 March 2015 (UTC))
"while at the same time they are protecting similar listings" -- bring ONE example of the same user deleting one chain from the Israel section and 'protecting' another in some other section. Just one. For an opposite example see this, I removed several McDonald's links from different countries. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 09:23, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Who are you talking about? Or to? I never made that statement... --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 04:51, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
The OP, Bluewind. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 09:12, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
My reasoning is based on fact that McDonald's Israel article is different from McDonald's. Also Burger King Israel article is not Burger King. --Bluewind (talk) 15:36, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
We have other such articles as well for branches of restaurants in specific countries -- and we don't post them on the List_of_fast_food_restaurant_chains article because of reasons that have already been repeated several times. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 16:03, 27 March 2015 (UTC)

Re: Parent

I did not imply that RBI was a subsidiary.

I implied that 3G Capital is the majority owner. ViperSnake151  Talk  17:16, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

In a corporate ownership, that doesn't make 3G a corporate parent it makes it a majority shareholder. If anything use the |owner = field instead of the |parent = field. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 22:21, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

I am actually engaged in a spite fence dispute currently. I would like to send some pictures of the situation for use in this article.

I am new to Wikipedia, would it be possible to collaborate on this?

Disambiguation link notification for August 21

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited BK Chicken Fries, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pepper. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your reverts of Fruit preserve

Hello. There was a question in Talk:Fruit preserve#Varenye in ALL of Eastern Europe?. To make the respective statements clear and avoid a pointless discussion on what is Eastern and what is Central Europe, I modified my previous statement. This statement does not need inline citations, as these are given in the respective articles Varenye and Murabba. In fact, it is the same statement but just a bit more explicit. When you reverted the many edits done by User:RPSM you also included mine (I suppose by mistake). So I restored my edit. However, when you reverted the next bunch of edits by RPSM you took mine again. Was it a mistake or really your intent? If you really dispute my edit, we can bring it to the talk page of the article. --Off-shell (talk) 15:44, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

CoQ RoQ

I am not a Wikipedia guru like you seem to be, obviously you have a lot of time on your hands if that is all you enjoy doing is making over 60k revisions to entries over the past 9 years. However, if you are adding pertinent information with sources, that is a good thing.

Having said that, not every single sentence on every single thing can be (or should be) "cited". You removed simple, unique information that came DIRECTLY OFF OF the "band's" Myspace page and their coqroq.com page AS THEY HAD IT written back from 2005-2006. Now, you cannot access that old info - the official site is long gone and the myspace page these days is much different and Myspace completely changed things and removed old info and page banners, etc. I also do not know who ran the band's myspace page back then, obviously it was members/actors who played in the band or possibly somebody at Burger King. It wasn't a "Fan-run" page.

So as I said, you took out little things here and there that go back years, and may have in fact been first written by the band members/actors/representatives in Burger King that appeared on the coqroq.com site and their Myspace page. Simple things in fact that didn't take away from, nor did any harm, to the overall beef of information on the Wikipedia page - nor your own additions in fact.

Again I am not a guru here so you can keep doing as you please. You removed my first correspondence to you off of your wall probably not wanting it to remain on your page to let others know that while you are doing good with Wikipedia, you are also removing things here and there that really have no reason to be removed - but you simply remove things because it wasn't to "your liking."

I don't know how to "officially" sign this so I will sign it this way - Sincerely -- Joseph Paul Anthony Angel JohnnyangelNIU (talk) 19:25, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

CoQ RoQ Part 2

Jeremy sadly I cannot - the pages the very original info and words came from that were on Wikipedia are no longer online from the other two main sources.

Some of the little tidbits or actual "Wording" (ie. "little is known about the actual musicians or actors involved") came directly off their original Myspace page (both factually I guess, and to make them more "mysterious") - which is no longer there - or as it was in its heyday - Myspace changed everything.

Other stuff from the actual coq-roq.com website cannot be accessed as that was removed in mid 2006, as the Wikipedia page originally stated. If either of the two pages existed, I would simply give you their links to verify how almost word for word the info was lifted right from those sources to probably make the original Wikipedia page.

We are talking basically about two sentences here that came from these two original sites and that was how the Wikipedia page was for as I said - probably at least 7 years.
