reference for uric acid.

You did not let me do a full edit before deleting my comment. I was in fact about to add the reference, but this wiki page has a new way of adding that I was not familiar with. Here is the reference FYI -- http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/444866-overview — Preceding unsigned comment added by InTheZone (talkcontribs) 07:57, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for logging in and adding that ref to Hyperuricosuria. Please review Help:Show preview to avoid similar situations in the future. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 08:06, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

OK I will figure out how to do this properly... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.5.211 (talk) 08:33, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

What is that supposed to mean?   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 08:56, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Back in June 2012 you PRODded this, and it was deleted. Undeletion has been requested at WP:REFUND by a user who thinks he can find sources, so per WP:DEL#Proposed deletion I have restored it, and now notify you in case you wish to consider AfD. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 13:45, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, I'm participating in the AfD someone started.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 16:37, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Removal of our site from Addison's disease Wikipedia

Hi Jeff, I got your message and had been wondering who kept removing the link. I would appreciate it if you would leave it as we are on a similar mission to NADF and are, in fact, connected with them and acknowledged by them as supporting the advancement of the awareness of Addison's disease.

You are free to contact me directly via the contact us page on www.4philip.org

Best regards,

Eric Hart CEO 4Philip dot Org — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.15.101.70 (talk) 04:48, 28 March 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for that information. Please discuss it at Talk:Addison's disease. Your external link should appear to be relevant to the topic of the article within the confines of the article; it doesn't at present. Please also see WP:EL, WP:COI, and WP:MEDMOS#Audience. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 15:10, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Eric, the charity does not seem nationwide and does not meet the requirements from our external links policy. Apart from that, I have spotted a number of glaring errors and/or misrepresentations on the front page of the site alone. JFW | T@lk 11:53, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
Would you care to expound on those errors and/or misrepresentations?   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 06:44, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
I have expounded on Talk:Addison's disease. JFW | T@lk 14:38, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, I supported your opinion there.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 00:52, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

CSD A7

Hi.. Can you help me?, The A7 Criteria on Criteria for speedy deletion states that This criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums, software, or other creative works. This criterion does not apply to species of animals, only to individual animal(s). So, does this criteria applies to a movie article? (eg:18 Vayasu or Big Trouble in Little China)? Cheers :) BINOY Talk 06:32, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello Jeff. Thought I would drop you a note to let you know that this question has been answered here Wikipedia:Help desk#CSD A7 question Cheers and have a good weekend. MarnetteD | Talk 06:44, 6 April 2013 (UTC)

Got your message. I'm trying to set up a wikipedia account w/password. no vandalism meant whatsoever. Cedar point timeline facts are wrong and now

sources will be given. Please follow up on these as there is a malicious intent by others to get these facts incorrectly put out there. I will provide sources for all edits from now on, please research and follow up on them. Take care.

IP at DRN

Hello, Jeff. I don't know if you are aware of this, but the IP who added the DRN is a suspected sockpuppet of the community banned vandal Fragments of Jade. She has the same geographical location, same attitude as her previous accounts, same IP range from Pennsylvania, same internet provider (Comcast), same misunderstanding of what an administrator is, same interests (i.e. Earl Cain, Silent Hill) and also the same temperament as her previous accounts (see WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Fragments of Jade/Archive). Basically, she is using the IP to avoid scrutiny from other editors and also to evade her ban. Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:00, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

So report it to WP:SPI and note that at WP:DRN. Edit warring will not make your point.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 04:02, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
I already did report it to SPI a few days ago, and the IP has been blocked for one week for block evasion. Just to clarify, if a user reverts a banned user, they are exempt from 3RR. Being a user for nearly 6 and a half years, I obviously know better than to edit war, which is forbidden (and I have been blocked once for it), but if I did edit war, then I apologize. Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:04, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
OK, you are excused, but please consider giving a reason for each and every one of such reverts. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 04:13, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
There are absolutely no hard feelings. I always give reasons for reverts and try my best to fill out edit summaries, especially when reverting edits by banned users. I do not intend to violate 3RR nor do I wish to be blocked for doing so. Also, the banning policy states that "Anyone is free to revert any edits made in defiance of a ban, without giving any further reason and without regard to the three-revert rule. This does not mean that edits must be reverted just because they were made by a banned editor (obviously helpful changes, such as fixing typos or undoing vandalism, can be allowed to stand), but the presumption in ambiguous cases should be to revert." Therefore, if someone reverts any edits in defiance of a ban without further reason and without regard to 3RR, they are free to do so. And, you're welcome. :-) Cheers, and have a great day, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 04:22, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

FYI

I re-removed that post at DRN, the filer was a banned user and the IP has been blocked for a week. Just a heads up :-) Steven Zhang Help resolve disputes! 04:02, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

Thank you. The post appeared legitimate and the removal of it appeared insufficiently justified.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 04:05, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
Yeah. I thought you would have spotted my removal of the post but maybe not. Have a good day :-) Steven Zhang Help resolve disputes! 04:23, 12 April 2013 (UTC)

Re: April 2013

Living people is one thing, the absolute demand for a public office of dignity and honour is quite another. I suggest the "strict demand" is in this (severe) case waivered on grounds of crime against humanity!!! 31.45.96.174 (talk) 05:10, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

I would suggest that you ask for such a waiver at the BLP Noticeboard.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 02:52, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Yr Seagate Edits

FWIW, I moved yr CMI reference from the Segate article to the Computer Memories Inc. article as a more appropriate place. While the CMI debacle is well known there is no evidence that it had any substantive effect on the demand for Seagate products. One might even argue that the loss of the IBM business caused Seagate to pay more attention to the other OEMs and the aftermarket. Tom94022 (talk) 16:44, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for the notice, Tom. Anecdotally, in the shop where I worked, we all agreed to never ever recommend or buy a CMI drive unless it came in an AT. We recommended and bought Seagate drives. I had an AT clone with an ST-238 drive on my desk for years, with nary a new bad sector reported by Norton Disk Doctor.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 02:45, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

You deleted my edit of King Solomon's temple. I humorously pointed out that the scriptural description of the 'sea' had to be in error. It is described as 10 cubits across and 30 around, and is round.

NOTE that the C of a circle is PI*DIAMETER; therefore it was not 10 cubits across, or was not 30 cubits around. If 10 across, it is 31.415926... around- that's an error of 1 and 2/5 of a cubit; therefore the page is in error. HOWEVER, the scripture claims this, thus either the scripture is in error, or it is a honest to goodness MIRACLE. Live with it, I am right, supress me though you will. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.186.202.19 (talk) 20:09, 18 April 2013 (UTC)

Your edits were not encyclopedic, even if they were somewhat humorous. The discussion of the approximation of π imputed by the description of the Brazen Sea in Solomon's Temple is not in that article, but instead at Approximations of π#Imputed biblical value.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 03:23, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
