= most of the information in the Latter Day Church of Christ article was untrue and supported mainly by those who have at a number of times attempted to cause undo harm to not only the church itself but also to individual members as well. If you well not allow me to remove that information then at lest state that that is only one side of the story. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chans92 (talkcontribs) 02:43, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the explanation of your removal from Turning Point (2011) in this edit.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 18:04, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Any plans to bring JeffGBot back?

It hasn't made any edits in about 7 months. Has it been replaced? ScottSteiner 03:28, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

The latest status is all over User talk:Jeff G./Archives/2011/June, especially User talk:Jeff G./Archives/2011/June#Citation_templates_redux, to wit: "I have shut down the bot until I have a fix, sorry for any inconvenience." All requests for help have gone unanswered, and I haven't been able to fix the problems yet myself. My centralized request for help has been moved to http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual_talk:Pywikipediabot/weblinkchecker.py#Questions_from_BRFAs_and_elsewhere_on_English_Wikipedia. I just filed some bug reports in JIRA.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 05:01, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Jeff it all depends on how well you code, Ive got a functioning bot that checks both wayback and webcite. Its not that hard to program. ΔT The only constant 01:50, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

MESSAGE FROM RDJERE Thank you for the feedback on jasig. I have contacted the Jasig board of directors regarding some of the issues with the article. I plan on fixing them as soon as they get me the required material, including their logo under a CC license:

From Eric Dalquist <eric.dalquist@****.***.***> "Hello there, I'm going to include the Jasig board and our web-presence folks on this since some of those folks can likely clarify things.

My initial reaction was just going to point you to http://www.jasig.org/ as I thought we had all of the content on that site posted under CC but I see that isn't the case. I believe that is an oversight and that we can get our site updated shortly to have the content available under CC-Attribution

As for citations I'm hoping the board folks can provide a list.

Thanks for the work on the article." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rdjere (talkcontribs) 21:30, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

Message from Nagendrapsingh

Article on Hamish McDonald.

I created this article sometime ago but this has been merged or confused with Hamish MacDonald, another Austrlalian Journalist. MacDonald is only 24 http://www.smh.com.au/news/world/the-aljazeera-aussies/2006/05/06/1146335966101.html McDonald wrote a book in 1999 and should be much older http://www.amazon.com/Polyester-Prince-Rise-Dhirubhai-Ambani/dp/1864484683/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1326862540&sr=1-5

Is it OK to create my own Hamish McDonald because that gentleman has spent several years in India and written books on very famous Indian families. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nagendrapsingh (talkcontribs) 04:58, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

Has this been sorted out?   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 23:50, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

New account/rename

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your email. Not sure you got my reply so will post this here.

I understood that for accounts with no or few edits it was Wikipedia policy to request a new account rather than a rename...? I have made no edits using that account (Amalek101) so it may be simpler to create a new one?

Declined Speedy

I have declined your speedy deletion request for Navy Mutual Aid Association, because I do not believe that it meets the requirements. A claim to 112,000 members is enough to be an assertion of notability. You could send it to AFD, if you wish, although I'd likely vote to keep it. (As a navy retiree, I am familiar with the organization, although I'm not a customer.) Horologium (talk) 21:01, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
