Private islands of Tasmania?[edit]

I don't know if you know the answer to this. What is the difference between Category:Private islands of Tasmania and Category:Freehold islands of Tasmania? Most of the time when an island is "private", the land of the island is held in freehold. Is there something special about this terminology in Tasmania? Ratty Island[edit]

Yeh, Rottnest Island needed a bit of work, probably needs more. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you know if the Rottnest Island Authority still exists (looks like it does), has it moved from an independent body to a division/ section/ group/ part of the WA Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions it was 'merged' into?

The text makes no mention of the Rottnest Island Foundation, (https://www.rottnestfoundation.org.au/) or its conection to isle, though I have added a link in the external links section.

Edit conflict![edit]

Whoops here, seems when I edit conflicted with you, I pasted my expanded 'History' sections over the entire page, reverted to restore, most, content here, I pasted back in my update/expansion, again here.
All seems well. That will teach me to use an {{In use}} template in future, though the edit started out small and just grew and grew and … I found a particularly good source here.  :-\ Regards, 220 of ßorg 16:08, 17 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

so blue, oh so blue[edit]

Yes. The ledes of the Diocese articles are also frustratingly lacking in uniformity. Up until now, I've been concentrating on the infoboxes, but one day I'm going to tackle the ledes and other sections as well. They need tidying up. Bahnfrend (talk) 08:39, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi JarrahTree, Please review https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheman_Shaik, and advice me. It is under Afd currently: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Cheman_Shaik There are 5 votes for Delete and none for Keep. However, considering that wikipedia is a place for subjective and rational decision making adhering to its various notability guidelines, I'm hopeful. Hope you will not ignore my request on the basis of majority of Delete votes.Wisdomwiki 40 (talk) 05:26, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion on Aboriginal community names[edit]

For [2][3], could you please:

We may disagree on the substance of the discussion, but independently of the subject matter there are well-defined ways of handling talk page discussions, which we should endeavour to follow. Mitch Ames (talk) 03:48, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

yes still here![edit]

Hey, yes still around, just things have been hectic, don't get much of a chance to edit... occasionally I see something that prompts a quick run of fixes though! -- Chuq (talk) 13:28, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Edit conflicts[edit]

Please be more careful when there's an edit conflict, eg [4] (corrected here). This sort of thing has happened before, so you are politely reminded about H:EC. If you're not getting an edit conflict warning, then it might be worth investigating why not. Mitch Ames (talk) 01:31, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
