Wikipedia is not a medium for promotion

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. There are many web sites where you can promote or publicise yourself, your work, and your ideas and theories, but Wikipedia is not one of them. If you would like to start contributing to the encyclopaedia in a neutral, non-promotional way, on subjects unrelated to yourself, then you are, of course, very welcome to start doing so, but if you just want to tell the world about yourself and your work and ideas, then Wikipedia isn't the right place for you.
