Your contributed article, The Suntaraporn band[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, The Suntaraporn band. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Suntaraporn. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Suntaraporn. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. BenzoAid(Send me a message!) 08:23, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I apologize for not mentioning this. I am trying to change the name from "Suntaraporn" to "The Suntaraporn band" to make it more appealing and better. I wasn't trying to vandalize or doing any harms to the pages. I only wanted to change names. Ilikecarrotrich (talk) 08:32, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, I'll accept your apology, but the name change was not really needed. Don't do it again though. // BenzoAid(Send me a message!) 08:34, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Suntaraporn" has two meanings that mean either The band leader Eua Sunthornsanan, who goes by his alias name "Suntaraporn," or The Suntaraporn band. I was trying to change it to The Suntaraporn band because the article is about the band, not the band leader. Ilikecarrotrich (talk) 08:36, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ahhhh. I completely understand. Thank you for letting me know. // BenzoAid(Send me a message!) 08:37, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please don't perform cut & paste moves like this again. The proper way to rename a page is to use the "Move" option under the "Tools" Menu in the upper right corner. The following is a template message explaining why this is a problem. --Paul_012 (talk) 18:48, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.

License tagging for File:Mandhana Morakul.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mandhana Morakul.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:30, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please attribute the source of translated articles[edit]

Wikipedia's licensing requires that you credit the original whenever content is reused, including translations from other language Wikipedias. When translating from the Thai Wikipedia, you must make a note linking to the original article, either as an edit summary or as a banner on the talk page. See Help:Translation for details. Thank you. --Paul_012 (talk) 11:53, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I started writing Wikipedia around not long ago and I barely know much after I read the rules, I am going to be more careful, I sincerely apologize. Ilikecarrotrich (talk) 11:55, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The Suntaraporn Band moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, The Suntaraporn Band, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:36, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Drafts[edit]

I received your email. AfC drafts that aren't actively worked on are usually automatically deleted in due course (six months from the last edit), so you can just leave them for now if you're okay with the eventual outcome. There's a small chance that someone might come in and help improve the referencing, so there's no hurry to delete before then. --Paul_012 (talk) 02:05, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
