Thank you very much for editing from a name account. I assume you will be using this account only now, and that the Igor Bogdanoff account may as well stay permanently blocked. I'm a little concerned that the autoblocker might get you if you should happen to come in from the same IP as one of the permablocked accounts; please let me know if you should have any problems editing now or in the future, from lingering autoblocks or whatever. If you can't get me, try for some computer-savvy admin such as Kim Bruning or NicholasTurnbull. (A randomly chosen admin may not even have heard of the autoblocker; I'm a little unsure about the details of it myself.)

Don't ever try to edit while blocked (though I hope you won't be in that situation again)! Doing that sets off the autoblocker and lengthens the block. Claims of the Theses in layman's terms

Hi Igor. I'm starting to do a preliminary draft of sweeping (and neutral) edits to the Bogdanov Affair article. Could you do me a favor and provide me with a very brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) explanation in layman's terms of your and your brother's theses? I looked around a bit, but wasn't able to find anything suitable. Normally I wouldn't ask, but since you have such an extensive background in bringing these subjects to everyday people (and since you obviously have the best idea of what the papers say) I thought you'd be the best person to provide it.

Note that what I'm looking for is just a succinct explanation of the papers to provide context to the article about the whole controversy, not any discussion of the controversy itself. Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. A brief note about Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:Autobiography

Dear Igor: Following your recent editing to Bogdanov Affair, and its subsequent reversion, I thought that I should explain to you the reason why the changes that you have made to the article have been reverted. You may find our policy document on article neutrality, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, of interest to you for information on how articles must prevent a fair and balanced view of subjects; your removal of statements critical of the Bogdanov papers, for example, would thus slant the article somewhat in the favour of your point of view, which would clearly not be acceptable. Ban on editors involved in Bogdanov Affair

All user accounts used by participants in the external controversy (involving the Bogdanov Affari) are banned from Wikipedia pending resolution of this matter. The criteria for determining external involvement shall be a review of their edit history, it being presumed that if the vast majority of their edits were to the Bogdanov Affair and related pages such as this arbitration that they are not Wikipedia editors but persons involved in the external dispute. This group includes: YBM (talk · contribs), XAL (talk · contribs), ProfesseurYIN (talk · contribs), Igor B. (talk · contribs), CatherineV (talk · contribs), 82.123.187.53 (talk · contribs). Laurence67 (talk · contribs), EE Guy (talk · contribs), 82.123.46.149 (talk · contribs), 82.123.57.232 (talk · contribs), Luis A. (talk · contribs) and all others who meet the criteria. Rbj (talk · contribs), a regular Wikipedia editor, and Ze miguel (talk · contribs), a new editor who has edited other areas, are banned from editing Bogdanov Affair, pending resolution of this matter.
