Dendritic cells[edit]

Hello Hugo,

I noticed you added the wikilink back to the Follicular dendritic cell on the Dendritic cell page after I removed it. The reason I took it out in the first place is 'cause if you click on the link it self, it re-directs back to the dendritic page (i.e. the link is circular). Unless you had an objection that I can't think of, I was going to remove the link again. Please let me know if you'd rather I didn't; if it's vital, it's best to respond on my talk page or via e-mail. In the past I've tended to miss out on edits to the talk page.

Thank!

No problem re: FDC, I just took out the link. If you wanted to create the article, best thing is to search for it, then it'll dump you back on the Dendritic cells page, but there'll be a small link saying "Redirected from FDC". If you click on that link, it'll take you to the redirect page, which you can then edit. But you may already have known that. Happy editing!

I finally see why I read half-conversations on people's talk page, this is way easier than trying to keep track of everything on individual talk pages.

Translation help[edit]

Hello Hugo Dufort,
I’ve been working on translating fr:Histoire de la Normandie into English (History of Normandy). I’m afraid that I might make a lot of mistakes because I’ve only been studying French for 4 months. Could you please take a look at the work to correct any errors I make? Galanskov 10:29, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:27, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. JavaScript RegExp problem[edit]

I noticed you have experience in JavaScript. I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I've run into writing a userscript.

Please see my post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject JavaScript#Nested RegExp.
