A tag has been placed on Response Modeling Methodology requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from Haim Shore, Modeling and Monitoring Ecological Systems—A Statistical Process Control Approach. 2013. DOI: 10.1002/qre.1544. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello HaimS, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing.   • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls. Your supposed references are entirely your own publications, not independent thrid-party sources
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • Your text had no wikilinks or references, and looks as if it was copied from elsewhere. You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Hosting your CV is not the purpose of Wikipedia. Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. You don't appear to be reading the messages above. We are not doubting the fact that you meet our notability criteria, but that doesn't mean that you can just write what you like, especially given your obvious conflict of interest.

Your own publications are not suitable as references, we need to know what independent sources say about you, not what you say about yourself. the place for your most notable writings is in a publications sections, as here.

You have made no attempt to follow our guidance on formatting text, and obviously haven't looked at any other biographies. Most of your text is unreferenced, or is self-referenced to your own primary publications, so we can't verify anything you have written, which is required for a WP:BLP. The text is self-serving. You comment on a case in which you were involved, which actually has a reference, but that requires paid access. You have decided what you are "known for" and what inspired you, again with no verification.

The other thing is that this looks very much like a copyright violation. It was created in one edit, with no references and almost no wikilinks, not even to Ra'anana, where you say you live. Given that you have revious in posting copyright text here, I think it wuld be better for you to start from scratch if you insist on writing about yourself. It's easier to d it that way in any case, given the mess that the original is in 11:32, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

There is not a single self-published item on References list of Response Modeling Methodology. All items underwent a rigorous review process by anonymous professors before being accepted for publication in respectable peer-reviewed journals.
