Not a blog[edit]

Hi, I saw your comment over at the Guitarists wikiproject about discussing guitars here. You said, "I don't see why personal talk pages can't resemble blogs". Well, the reason why is because it's against Wikipedia policy, in particular, WP:NOT#What your user page is not, which says, "Your user page is not a personal homepage, nor is it a blog". Basically, user pages are provided to help you organize the stuff you're working on and keep track of things. Not so that you can socialize. Now me, personally, I don't care what you do here. I'm not here to play narc. I just want to make sure you know the rules. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. Anyway, my favorite guitar, of all the ones I've ever owned, was a 1940s Gibson L5 carved-top acoustic which just had the sweetest tone and beautiful touch. Hey, Kev! I keep editing the 'Casper' film page but some one always changes it. They keep saying he died from hypothermia, but in the film there is an article on the floor that says "Pneumonia claims life of 11 yr. old boy." So how do we solve this? About converting file formats[edit]

Thanks for the hello, by the way.

I did a bit of searching, and many image programs can convert between the formats you mentioned. Here are a couple standard programs i checked out and the formats they can "save as."

Microsoft Paint[edit]

.bmp
.dib
.gif
.jpg
.jpeg

.bmp and .dib have the option of "Monochrome," "16 color," "256 color," and "24-bit" formats.

Hey, I was wondering if I could create a category page that would list all the people that I've given "newbie welcomes" to. This would help me to keep track of them better than writing them all down myself.
