Copyright issues[edit]

This edit is definitely not encyclopedic in tone and looks likely to be a violation of copyright. It is also probably a violation of WP:CRYSTAL. I suggest that you remove it until the event is reported in December, when surely it will receive coverage from various news sources etc. - Sitush (talk) 17:59, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sitush, I have no objection if you really want to remove my edit but the reasons you cite for such a possible removal don't seem to add up. The Bishop of the diocese of Kottar is the person who petitioned Vatican (the headquarters of the Catholic Church) to have Devasahayam Pillai declared a Martyr. It is this Bishop who is issuing a Statement that the ceremony of declaration of martyrdom and beatification of Devasahayam Pillai will take place in the diocese of Kottar on December 2, 2012. I have cited the Bishop's Circular as the source of the information. Is it a violation of copyright to cite an authoritative source? How can this be construed as "Crystal ball" prediction when a date and place have been announced by an authoritative source with regard to an event that is being organized? Do you think it would be "crystal ball" to say that the next summer olympics will take place in Rio de Jeneiro, citing the International Olympic Committee's Statement?

If, regardless of the reasons given above you decide to remove my edit, please go ahead. I shall look for an online source as reference as early as I can find one.பவுல்-Paul (talk) 23:04, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Grease devil[edit]
