Welcome![edit]

Hello, Gc Ray, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Ayam Atma Brahma, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

A tag has been placed on Ayam Atma Brahma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from classicyoga.co.in/2019/02/ayam-atma-brahma/amp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 14:22, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't copy material from elsewhere online[edit]

Hello. I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Further copyright issues will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa (talk) 12:42, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your advice. Gc Ray (talk) 13:28, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Editing an existing article is different than creating a new one. It's best to discuss on the article talk page and get consensus, certainly if you are totally rewriting the article. You do not get to change the citation style. Any changes to the citation style, the date style, or the English variant may be reverted if you do not match the existing styles. I've reverted your changes to the article: in my opinion, they degraded the article quality. Now you have to discuss on the article talk page before proceeding and get consensus for your changes per WP:BRD. Skyerise (talk) 11:46, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for making the change without discussion. Please consider my modified article. Gc Ray (talk) 11:53, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from History of Hinduism into Historical Brahminism. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:52, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I did not copy. But taking the help of Historical Vedic religion. Although the subject is covered in the Historical Vedic Religion article, I have prepared this article in harmony with Anti-Brahminism. You authorities, if I am wrong, please correct me. Because I am not very experienced. But there needs to be an article on this. Gc Ray (talk) 14:13, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Some of the content is present in all these articles. When copying from one Wikipedia article to another, you need to specify in your edit summary where you got it. — Diannaa (talk) 14:31, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for advice. Gc Ray (talk) 14:35, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Meatpuppetry[edit]

You have been collaborating with various accounts operated by Srabanta Deb (talk · contribs), a banned sockmaster, to publish their pages to the mainspace and generally do their bidding. This is expressly disallowed by the English Wikipedia's policies. I am letting you off with a warning due to your other, positive contributions, but you should consider this a strict warning to stop doing this sort of stuff.
