Disambiguation link notification for July 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Emily Sophia Tanner Richards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cottonwood, Utah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi, looking for a GAR to pick up, I came across Mr Savage. It looks nice. My concern is that the copyvio detector is showing quite a high match for the middle life period, see here, [1]. Thoughts? Best regards. KJP1 (talk) 07:54, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi KJP1, I wrote the part of the page that's coming up as a copyvio, so I'm particularly interested in copies of it. The Monovisions post is an uncredited copy of the Wikipedia page. The post goes until the studio fire, which is how his biography ended before the Monovisions post was written. You can also see other posts, like this one on Wilson Bentley, uses the exact wording of parts of the corresponding Wikipedia page. I suspect the Vintage Works "about this exhibit" page of also copying from the Wikipedia page, but I haven't been able to find when the page was created to see which one came first. Before creating the page I searched for online sources and cited the ones I found. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 16:01, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely understood. If I had royalties for the number of times I've seen my stuff elsewhere. One's even been made into a book. Shall very happily pick up the GAR but it'll be the weekend. Best regards. KJP1 (talk) 19:32, 25 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
