I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Australian erotic poetry, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Celithemis 00:42, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

March 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Mathematics, is not consistent with our policy on attribution and verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. RJASE1 Talk 05:43, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure the person you are adding to this article is notable? -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:15, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Meaninglessness, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. I was considering not even answering your enflamatory response, however I assume you are simply not familiar with what Wikipedia is. I recommend you read Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:About, Wikipedia:Five pillars, and Help:Contents/Getting started to understand what this project is for. This cannot become a reliable encyclopedia if it does not base it's articles on reliable sources. And no, your own writings are not reliable sources, unless they are published in academic, peer reviewed journals or other reliable sources such as mentioned in Wikipedia:Attribution#Reliable_sources. You are welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia, as long as you respect it's rules and guidelines. darkskyz 19:30, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Meaninglessness[edit]

I've nominated Meaninglessness, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Meaninglessness satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Meaninglessness and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Meaninglessness during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you.darkskyz 20:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding inappropriate links[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Nihilism. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. —Celithemis 03:37, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
