French battleship Brennus (1891)[edit]

Thank you for your contribution to French battleship Brennus (1891). However the correction you made was to a quotation. I have checked the original volume the quotation is from. The original was correct, so I have reverted to it.

Can I advise that when you correct quotations it is a good idea to have the original volume in front of you when you do it, as this reduces errors.--Toddy1 (talk) 22:34, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I thought somebody made an error on the link. Thanks. -- Flavius T

Monaldesco murder[edit]

You're right they didn't have to actually run around for Monaldesco for hours (see Queen Christina of Sweden). He probably knew he was doomed before long. It pulled out over a long time for other reasons: take a look at my note - I'll check that eyewitness letter. Thanks for spotting a good joke btw - my mother's a historian, she's written about Sweden in the 17th century and she will laugh aloud when I tell her about the blooper.
