A tag has been placed on Antrim Forum, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. DES (talk) 15:28, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kings Hall[edit]

The article was cut from an existing article without consultation, take it to the Belle Vue talk page or come up with some new information. J3Mrs (talk) 12:35, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why should you get your way over mine? Evangp (talk) 12:37, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove referenced and relevant information from well-written articles to make a new one. This is not how Wikipedia works. It is not a question of getting my own way it is simply that the paragraph you removed is an important part of a featured article and one FA criteria is that it must be comprehensive. The redirect sends a reader to the same information, I don't see your problem. Take it to talk. J3Mrs (talk) 12:41, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and sorry to pile on here, but you must make sure that if, in future, you copy and paste material from one article to another, you ensure there is an audit trail for contributions, such as linking to the history of the original article in the edit summary of the new article. The copy and paste you carried out is not in compliance with our licencing terms and is technically a copyright violation as it stands. Sorry to add to the list of complaints about your editing too, I know it's not nice when it feels everybody is shouting at you. Nick (talk) 12:58, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kiel Opera House[edit]

Hoch Auditorium[edit]

You appear to have improperly split Budig Hall into Hoch Auditorium. Please note that since both are the same building, which was rebuilt after a fire. Therefore, the name of the article should match the current name of the subject matter—in this case, Budig Hall. That article can then contain a boldface reference to the former name, along with explanation. Readers searching for the former name should be redirected to the new name, where they can see the explanation.

Please discuss splits like this on the talk page before making such major changes yourself. There are several things that must be considered. For example, after your changes, how would readers who land on the resultant article know that there's another, updated one? No link was provided. Furthermore, the article's history was not moved along with its text. This is standard practice on Wikipedia. Therefore, I will be reverting your good faith changes to both pages. Thanks for understanding. – voidxor (talk | contrib) 08:21, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Evangp

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username DoubleGrazing, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Glädjehuset, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|DoubleGrazing}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Ways to improve Alte Feuerwache[edit]

Hello, Evangp,

Thank you for creating Alte Feuerwache.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thanks for the article! However, how does this music venue/former fire station pass the general notability guideline WP:GNG, which requires multiple independent, reliable, secondary sources demonstrating WP:SIGCOV? The current ref is a database-like site (non-SIGCOV), my WP:BEFORE search mainly found trivial mentions or routine property details, see 1, 2, 3, [1]. The refs for the French version is slightly better, but it also just has two decent refs excepting the external links. However, do they discuss this in sufficient detail to be SIGCOV? Many thanks!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|VickKiang}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

An article you recently created, Théâtre Libre (performing arts center), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
