Embroidery[edit]
Hi, welcome, and thanks for trying to improve Wikipedia. You'll see that I felt it necessary to revert your changes to embroidery, for two reasons. 1) You removed some existing cited material, in some cases complete with citations, generally unwise unless you're adding better refs. 2) You added some uncited materials, which looked very much like WP:OR (your own gloss or explanations, or, (ahem), "embroidery" in another sense). It is very likely that part of what you wrote could be saved, but I think it ought to have its own (new) citations. If you can find suitable sources for your argument, then by all means make use of them, but it might be best to do that by proposing your changes (with named sources and even quotations) on the article's talk page (not here, and not on my talk page either).
