Apologies. I went through the history and found that the article had been vandalized before your edit. I'm sorry about the warning. Justeditingtoday (talk) 00:53, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted contributions[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Giacomo Meyerbeer, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Other changes you have made, which perhaps inadvertently give incorrect or misleading information, and are not supported by citations as they should be, have occured in George Gershwin, Mount Everest, John Field (composer), and other articles. These have also been reverted. Smerus (talk) 19:49, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of suicides[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to List of suicides, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. This policy applies not merely to articles on individual people, but list articles as well, as reflected in a 2010 discussion on the List of suicides talk page. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. The article Suicide of Jared High has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Needs references especially as such a serious topic that may have personally affected some readers

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. May 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Doris Angleton, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 02:57, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of sucides[edit]

Hi. Why did you remove the citation from the List of suicides article?

Also, you added people to the list without citing a reliable source. As more than one editor has mentioned to you above, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks.
