Another thing[edit]

Do you know who not-Mike Reddick [1] is? If so, please comment at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Mike Reddick.jpg. It's a nice pic, and perhaps it can be renamed instead of deleted. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:47, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I will see Mike on Thursday. I will ask if he knows. 2601:C4:CA80:12C0:A823:1899:7308:4887 (talk) 08:28, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! And please try to stay logged in when you edit. It generally helps communication, and stuff like [2] isn't two clicks away. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 09:17, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again. I saw Mike Reddick this morning as he was being honored by having the South Atlanta High School gymnasium re-named for him, after 22 years as a winning coach (522 wins), now serving as Athletic Director. (It was a secret surprise, so I avoided legacy basketball questions until today...) And after reviewing his erroneous Wikipedia photo, Mike replied that he thinks this is Terence Stansbury (Nashua #14).
Here's an article on Dutch Basketball that features the same photo: https://www.wearebasket.net/from-the-nba-to-the-netherlands/ Eddie Artist 1 (talk) 02:14, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, afaict, they don't know either. Thanks, I'll pass it on. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 06:45, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think [3] supports that Terence Stansbury is our man. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:33, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Per further discussion at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Mike Reddick.jpg, I think we fixed it. Other parts of the internet will probably still be confused, but that may change with time. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:24, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
