Joey Janela (born July 4, 1989) is an American professional wrestler known for his work in independent wrestling promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Janela is also known for his work in Game Changer Wrestling, where he has hosted two pay-per-view events, Joey Janela's Spring Break and Joey Janela's Spring Break 2.

Professional wrestling career[edit]

Early career (2008-2014)[edit]

Joey Janela would make his debut in New Jersey-based wrestling promotion National Wrestling Superstars, wrestling in a triple-threat match against JD Smooth and Corey Havoc. Janela would continue to work in several companies, such as World Xtreme Wrestling and Amazing Red's House of Glory promotion before debuting in Combat Zone Wrestling in September 2014. }[1]

Combat Zone Wrestling (2014-present)[edit]

Janela would debut in Combat Zone Wrestling at the promotion's Dojo Wars #10 event, losing to Dave McCall. Janela would continue to make appearances in CZW and would make his pay-per-view debut in a Best of the Best Qualifying Match against Sozio at CZW's Sixteen: An Ultraviolent Anniversary. Janela would then go onto compete in CZW's Best of the Best 14 tournament, losing to Juice Robinson in the first round. Notable accomplishments Janela has picked up in CZW include being a four-time CZW Wired TV Championship holder and competing in CZW's Cage of Death match, a match that pits wrestlers against each other inside of a cage filled with weapons like glass panes, chairs, and light tubes.[1]

I just wanted you to know that I reverted your change to James Ellsworth (wrestler) because it really needs citation from a newspaper, news website, or other external source. I don't doubt that you intended well, but Wikipedia wants to be sure that statements like yours can be backed up externally.
