JWs[edit]

Why does your religion keep on changing all the time? You make up a date for the End of the World and then you change it when nothing happens. The Word of God says "No man knows the day or the hour" - so why do you keep setting new dates?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.32.28 (talk) 23:32, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Please note that it is not considered appropriate to modify Talk pages that have been archived, as you did at Talk:Jehovah's Witnesses/Archive 1 and Talk:Jehovah's Witnesses/archive 38. Also, Talk pages are for discussion of improvements to their related article. They should not be used as a forum for general discussion about the topic. Please see WP:NOTFORUM and WP:NOTSOAPBOX for more information.--Jeffro77 (talk) 04:08, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I was just tring to help. I only became a member yesterday. I deleted the section I created.

Actually, things can't be deleted on current talk pages unless they're forum-like. Since people had replied to your comment, I've restored the thread. You're more than welcome to contribute to JW articles, just keep in mind our policies on reliable sources and original research. I'll put a welcome template below to help you out. Welcome!

Hello, Duck198, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Carl.bunderson (talk) 02:06, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

thanks. i will read all the rules. i will try not to post anything from now on.

You really haven't caused any trouble. And you can, and should, post things in the future. Just remember that your talk page posts have to be specific, and related to what's editing the article. Things like "the wording of sentence x needs to be changed because...", followed by an argument based on reliable sources. Things of that nature. O, and remember when you're posting on talk pages, to follow your comments with four tildes (~). That will produce your signature and a timestamp, so that people following the conversation have an easier time. Cheers! Carl.bunderson (talk) 21:55, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JW Talk page[edit]

Hi. Don't be too concerned about the reaction at the JW talk page. It is true that Wikipedia isn't a discussion forum and removing information from archives is also against the rules. But you haven't caused any trouble, and editors with a fresh look at articles are always welcome to contribute.

In addition to the Wikipedia policies that Carl left on your talk page above, you can also review the JW Project page for tips on editing JW-related articles.--Jeffro77 (talk) 14:10, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You!!!!!!!
