Citing a segment of a journal article that's in Wikisource[edit]

As I was reading a letter relevant to Jain vegetarianism#Historical_background, I noticed it was on Wikisource. So I thought I'd add it as a reference.
It's included in a 1933 journal article (which is what I was reading). But the Wikisource cite templates seem to assume that if your article is part of something else (eg a Journal) then the whole something else is part of the Wikisource URL.
Anyway, you can see my struggles in my May 12 revision to that page; in the end, I kludged it by including the necessary info the volume. But it'd be nice to know how to get both the correct Wikilink, and the correct Journal citation.
- Hi Drianmcdonald. I've tweaked the citation a little using the "chapter", "plaintitle" and "editor" parameters. The problem here is you have a letter within an article within a book, and the template doesn't seem to support that degree of precision. Hopefully I've improved the situation a bit but it's not perfect so I'll leave the help notice up. benzband (talk) 15:37, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
