A tag has been placed on BASE-10 Spectrum, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Butseriouslyfolks 21:15, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BASE-10 Spectrum is a content management system and should be included in the list of other content management systems. The statement is true. This is a descriptive of the tool and not in any way, shape or form, blatant promotion/advertising. It should be included with other CMS for informational purposes.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Drakeja (talkcontribs)

It does not look informative; it looks promotional. I speedy-deleted it once, so I'll leave it to someone else to decide. Tom Harrison Talk 15:49, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How can it be written differently to inform and not to promote, e.g. Microsoft? Microsoft has hundreds of entries about its products and services and links to their websites. How is this different? All I am asking is the right to be considered with other CMS systems. By deleting the article, you are denying the existence of the software.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Drakeja (talkcontribs)

No, we're not. Notability is not existence. Please see our criteria for inclusion of companies. The best way to create an article that won't be deleted is to find sources independent of the company that we can use to write an encyclopedia article about this company. A tag has again been placed on BASE-10 Spectrum. Please stop creating this article unless it is written from sources independent of the subject. As of now, it provided no context and lists no independent sources that could be used to expand the article. Pan Dan 17:02, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It has the most basic information. It is purely for information. There are 7 links written from independent sources.

Replied on my talk page. Pan Dan 17:39, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Prod tag on Traction TeamPage[edit]

Hi, you recently placed a {{prod}} tag on the article for Traction TeamPage. That article survived a recent AFD discussion (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Traction TeamPage), so it is not eligible for proposed deletion. I have removed the prod notice. Just wanted to let you know. -- Black Falcon 06:01, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
