Your edits to Tokio Hotel album pages[edit]
I just wanted to tell you that I reverted your edits. Mainly because the German capitalization of the German song titles were already correct. Capitalization in German is very important as it affects the meaning of the title. For example in one of your changes: while "suchen" means "to search (for)", "Suchen" means "the search" therefore your version translated to "people the search people" instead of "people search for people". Also Wikipedia's use of foreign language capitalization insists to use the capitalization of German if the song title (in this instance) is not a loan word from German into English.
I also reverted your edits due to the translations of the songs. I have already noticed over the last few months on the single articles, especially the one for "Heilig", that people tend to edit war over the translation of the song title. Although it would be great to go without on song articles too, we can't as translations are important to an article whose subject matter is so specific. But translations are really more of a trivia thing when it comes to album articles and its not detrimental to the article if they aren't there. If they had so much importance, the translations, along with every other song detail, would be discussed as pros in the main article structure. If people wanted to know what the songs translated to, they wouldn't just want the translation of the title but rather the entire song and there are plenty of fan sites with that content which they could look up themselves. Therefore really it's best to leave them out especially due to the edit wars that happen. Many other language articles don't have the translations e.g Fijación Oral Vol. 1 and Dónde Están los Ladrones? but its not like those articles depend on translations to make sense and the same goes for the Tokio Hotel articles.
But I do appreciate your efforts in trying to make the articles better and I see you've been doing great work around the wiki for the last few months so keep up the great work. :) AngelOfSadness talk 21:51, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
